11  My first book bag. in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Jan1972 on: April 08, 2007 02:42:42 PM
Inspired by all those I had seen on here I just had to make one.  I managed to use it once before my sister swiped it.

Thanks to everyone who posted pics of theirs and gave me the inspiration.  I will make more of these at some point,  I'm just looking for the perfect book to make another with.

12  Toy Dog clothes in Crochet: Completed Projects by Jan1972 on: January 15, 2007 03:34:33 PM
My sister bought this dog for my niece at christmas,  My sis puts clothes on her real dog which my niece hates,  so sis had me make some clothes for the toy one to wind her up.  Didn't quite work as the things I made were so like the clothes she wears herself she thought they were cool.

Beanie hat,  wrist (leg) cuffs and choker

skull sweater

This was the first time I had crocheted anything without a pattern so I was quite pleased with the way they turned out.

13  Re: Star Baby Blanket~Along in Crochetalongs by Jan1972 on: January 15, 2007 03:27:22 PM
I crocheted a blanket for my daughter (6months)  and my son 3 years kept pinching it, so I made him the star afgan  which he loves (especially as its big enough for him to put his fire engine to bed with).  Its a bit bigger than most, but he's not a baby anymore,  Might have to keep adding extra rows as he grows.

Pic of my son modeling his new blanket.
