Amazing! I love that it's knit and material and not metal. Very original!

Do it! If I saw you guys at a party I would give you props for being creative with a costume that's been done a million times.

Wow! I knew that Craftsterites would have fabulous suggestions. Thanks so much for all the input.

I would love to have done Alice in Wonderland but I think it would be too much work for the little time we have. Actually, I would have loved to do a lot of the costumes you guys suggested but since we're pressed for time we've decided to be a witch bride and her 5 bridesmaids.

We found some amazing witch hats @ Walmart that look crafted even though they're not (they even have veils with spiders on them). So we're each going to wear one of those and then the bride will wear one that we'll add more elements to.

Then we'll all wear black and have matching bouquets of dead or black flowers.
We haven't decided on all the matching accesories yet but the accessories will definitely make the costume. I'm thinking that we should all try to have familiars that we could dress in little bridal outfits. Also, we could have matching spooky sashes and jewelry like a regular bridal party would have.

Someone mentioned being girl scouts, which is what we did last year since we managed to gather enough old uniforms for 5 girls. AT the party we were at there was a rival group of girl scouts  who were dressed all in black with zombie makeup who were "Ghoul guides" (in Canada, girl scouts are called girl guides). They had fashioned badges for things such as beheading, haunting, etc. It was very cool and I thought I would mention it to anyone who might want to use the idea.

Awesome! I would definitely award you a prize in a costume contest.

Hi all,

My friends are I are travelling to NYC for Halloween and we're at a loss
for a great group costume. The past few years we and various boyfriends have been Greek deities, Wizard of Oz characters and girl guides. This year, we're only girls and since we don't have as much time to work on our costumes as in past years, we're having trouble deciding what to be.

We were thinking of being a convention of witches or something else that is simple/not original but might look cool if 6 girls were dressed as it.

Any suggestions?

Could you tell me more about this zombie walk in Montreal. Also, the makeup is fabulous!
