1  Awesomely Cool Fork necklace! in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by dtqueen16 on: April 17, 2007 07:23:43 PM
I saw this idea at a local jewelry store and thought it was the coolest thing! Just a little brute force with a pair of pliers, some wire and a few beads and ta-da!
Next project: spoons! Be on the lookout!

Does anyone know any secrets that would soften the fork to help bend it without changing the color?

I've gotten so many compliments that I was thinking of selling these at our local farmer's market, how much do you all think I could charge for them? (in Canadian $..or American) I was thinking maybe $10? $12? Feedback would be appriciated!

2  Summer dress! And yes, those ARE vespas! in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by dtqueen16 on: April 11, 2007 02:56:44 PM
This was my first attempt at sewing a dress. (I used cheap clearance fabric from Walmart with NEWLOOK pattern 6676 and made my own straps from a pair of my mom's jeans) What do you think? (sorry for the goofy pose and messy room!)
