It sounds like you're heading to UC Davis. There's a great on-campus craft center that offers a variety of classes. Membership grants open studio time and access to all kinds of handy equipment. Check out the center's site here: http://campusrecreation.ucdavis.edu/crafts/studio.php#fees

Have fun!  Smiley
2  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / creative concessions on: May 19, 2007 10:54:45 AM
I'm going to be in charge of providing a food/drinks booth at a local art fair. I want to sell dessert and more snacky/healthy items that will appeal to a wide variety of ages.
Ideas I have so far include...
classic chocolate chip or peanut butter cookies
brownies
lemonade
popcorn w/butter or olive oil and nutritional yeast
celery sticks w/cream cheese or peanut butter
Let me know if you have any ideas that would be popular yet fairly simple to prepare...and how much you think people would be willing to pay for them. Thanks!<3

so if you just traced the pieces onto paper, how did you get the cups three dimentional....or are they? are they flat pieces that just streach over your figure? way cool! i hope i can make something like this some day. i wonder if it is difficult working with such slippery and streachy fabric.
6  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Il Mio Valentino Postcard Swap (WWTMCT) (SIGNUP 1/12/05-1/22/05) on: January 15, 2005 08:50:46 AM
I dunno what I would do with sexy postcards...other than keep them locked up in a drawer somewhere. There's just too many people around that would be asking me funny questions about them. When I think of valentines day, I think of sweet little things, not dirty! Anyways, I just don't think I'd want to display my "dirty" cards. Also: What is the agreed number we must send to now? Will this be clarified when the addresses are sent out. I don't think I'll have time for a ton. I don't mean to sound like a valentine scrooge, but it can' be troubling when swaps change on you after you've signed up!
7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / LIVESTRONG bracelet too big? on: January 14, 2005 11:29:01 PM
I just got one of those yellow rubber LIVESTRONG bracelets to support cancer survivors. It's so big on me. Anyone have an idea to shorten it whout tototaly mutating it. I thought about cutting and adding a snap button. Or maybe a mini d ring type closure, but how would i sew the drings in? Thankyou!
