1  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Openwork Coat from Family Circle Easy Crochet on: March 11, 2007 04:26:53 PM
Is anyone else working on this coat from the Spring/Summer 2007 issue?  I have the back and both fronts finished.  I thought I had one sleeve finished, but is does not fit.  The instructions for the sleeves are a little vague.  I need to make the shaping at the top of the sleeve longer.  So, you can't just keep adding rows because that will make it go straight up and it needs to be tapered.  Any help is greatly appreciated!   Huh
2  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Wool Bam Boo Scarf on: January 03, 2007 11:27:17 AM
Has anybody tried to make the scarf on page 9 of the Fall 2006 issue of Interweave Crochet?  It is the one using Classic Elite's Wool Bam Boo yarn.  I love the scarf and bought the yarn.  But when I tried to crochet it, I ran into problems with the pattern at row 3.  Row 3 ends with four double crochet, but when you go back to repeat row 2, it starts off skipping a group of stiches.  I e-mailed them, but haven't heard back yet.   Huh
