1   Sherwani pattern in Clothing: Discussion and Questions by TartyDragon on: March 28, 2014 07:03:25 AM
Hi all.

I've been asked to try and make a Sherwani for a friend and am looking for a pattern.

Its like a long Indian wedding coat for men with a wide lapel and straight cut sides. I've been looking for a pattern for the actual garment but non seem to be available so I'm looking for something like it. I can do the decoration myself but the pattern I need some help with

thank you

2  Re: If someone would be kind enough (Goth Loli question) in Clothing: Discussion and Questions by TartyDragon on: September 13, 2009 11:04:51 AM
Well an easy goth loli skirt you can make with a simple tube/pencil skirt and just pleat black lace around it.

As for a top you could  do something sim with a plain shirt just by adding lace and strips of black fabric, all you would need is to be able to tack stitch. Get some cheap red plastic roses from a pound shop/dollar store and add to you hair, black biro spiders on your neck and arms.

Might I suggest you check out the La Carmina  Blog (just google it) You'll get some great images and lots of inspiro.

I'll post some more after dinner lol
