I've been sewing a lot recently and have been looking at some really cool sewing covers here and elsewhere.  So I finally made one for my trusty sewing machine.

I wanted the front to look like a modern house.  The flowers are embroidered.

and here it is packed and ready to go!

3  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Micro Terrariums/Living ornaments on: January 25, 2007 08:05:55 AM
I made a couple of tiny terrariums last night.  The one on the left is actually a glass Christmas ornament and it's less than 2 inches across!  I also added some pebbles for color.  These succulents grow pretty slowly so I think they'll be OK inside the ornament for awhile.  I can't wait to make more!

4  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Meet Chester the Squirrel! on: January 18, 2007 07:00:45 AM
Chester is made from felted wool coats and stuffed with poly-fil.  I came up with the pattern and tweaked it until the pieces fit.  He's wearing a felted bag lined with cotton and is about 8 inches tall.  I *heart* him!

5  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Over-Caffeinated Night Owl! on: November 08, 2006 06:50:42 AM
My girlfriend is a total night owl so i made her a little felt night owl to keep her company in the middle of the night.  He's holding an extra large cup of coffee by the way.   Grin
