3  COOKING / Vegetarian / Vegan / Re: What to do with tofu? on: March 04, 2008 07:21:27 AM
I've made a wheat-free tofu/broccoli and cheese bake.  Obviously, this is not a vegan dish but is a vegetarian dish Smiley.

You take a block of firm tofu and cut it up into pieces, and combine it with a small container of low fat sour cream and a bag of shredded cheese. Combine this with some fresh broccoli and the tofu and top it with more cheese.  Bake it for 1/2  an hour and enjoy!  Its great Smiley

I'm really inspired by this; I usually keep everything in a handmade journal, but your idea is a great one!

You could replace forks with sticks stuck in the ground; something gathered locally and then could be later used to fuel a bonfire Smiley

I'm originally from Johnstown, and still come back to visit a few times a year.  My mother, who isn't very internet saavy, has been looking for people to get together and do art with though, so if anyone is interested, let me knwo Smiley.

Purdue has two different arts programs.  They have fine arts graphic design program and then also a Computer Graphics Technology program.  Although I am a writing instructor/Ph.D. student in Rhetoric and Composition, I've worked a lot with both sets of studetns because I teach in the CGT learning community and also teach the upper division multimedia writing course.

If you come here, we also have two local places that have a host of great craft/art courses--the Morton center in west lafayette and the Art Museum in Lafayette.  I prefer the morton center and have taken a host of great art and craft classes there (bookbinding, pottery, watercolor arts, etc).
