1  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / Need Help: Stuffed Animal with compartment on: March 28, 2007 09:26:45 PM
Hi, I'm kind of newish (and more of a lurker than poster). I tried to do a serach on here, but couldn't find anything. So, I apologize if this was asked already.

I want to make my long distance boyfriend a stuffed bunny for easter. But, I want to put gifts INSIDE of the bunny. The gifts would be one of two things: those plastic easter eggs (they'd have notes in them) or those party poppers people get for the 4th of July.

My problem is that as far as stuffing goes ... those things are hard. So, the bunny comes out scary looking - like some hurricane went through his insides.

I have a sewing machine, and am at medium sewer level. I have TONS of bunny pattern ideas. Just NO clue how to actually make a compartment inside of the bunny so that it would look normal on the outside, but still have gifts in it.

Does this make sense? Anyone know what I can do? Huh
