1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / getting started on: November 19, 2003 10:30:37 PM
I'm trying to learn how to crochet but I'm having some trouble.  My vision is impaired and I have trouble seeing the stitches. What is the easiest kind of yarn to learn with.  I think I might need something larger so I can  see what I'm doing better.

I'm starting to get discouraged.  Any ideas?

 Huh
I want to make Lemon Liqueur for my friends  and put it in pretty bottles for xmas.  I got a recipe but I'm kind of nervous about trying it.  I'm worried it won't be tasty and it takes a couple weeks to age so I feel like there's no room for error.

Has any one tried this before?

Does it sound like a good idea for a gift?
