1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / double knitting or knit double? on: October 08, 2008 12:26:19 PM
Hi just wondering if anyone could help me out with a pattern I'm looking at at the mo. Its in a Rowan book of vintage knits using Rowan kidsilk haze. The instructions say "cast on x stitches ... using yarn DOUBLE. beg k row then work st st". Does this mean double knitting? And how do you start that? I've looked at a couple of youtube videos but I'm not quite sure I get it. The pattern then goes on "change needles and yarn SINGLE". Any suggestions? Thanks for your help!
