1  Hello Kitty Hat/scarf for daughter in Crochet: Completed Projects by coffeenomore on: December 21, 2010 07:18:51 AM
DD loves HELLO KITTY, so I made her a hat, and a scarf for Christmas (had to give them to her early, as I had to measure etc.) She loves it. So with the completion of this set, I am officially done with my Christmas gifts My RA and Carpal tunnel are giving me fits, so NO more crocheting for awhile have a dr's appt in Jan,(pain is terrible right now, can't sleep at night etc.) So it took longer to finish this set than normal., wasn't sure I would get it done in time

I just made a basic beanie, and then made the ears (4) total ears two for each side, then I just used felt for the eyes, and mouth. The scarf just red and white stripes with fringe, no pattern needed. Thanks for looking and have a great day. I also considered just making a plain white scarf, with big red bows on the end, I may still do that

Here is the hat and scarf

2  Zebra Madness (afghan for daughter) in Crochet: Completed Projects by coffeenomore on: April 30, 2009 01:49:58 PM
I call this afghan Zebra Madness, because that's what I felt like I was sinking into while making it, The pattern the yarn  made almost made me go blind lol because the zebra stripes actually looked like they were moving. To say my daughter likes Zebra print is an understatement she LOVES ! it she has everything from sunglasses, bows, jackets, sheets etc. etc. I haven't decided whether to put this back for Christmas, or give it to her now. I hope she likes it. Anyway thanks so much for looking and have a great day!

3  Cupcake scarf (Just added NEW scarves pic) in Crochet: Completed Projects by coffeenomore on: December 08, 2008 07:05:15 AM
I made this cupcake scarf the other day. I wore it lst Saturday (it was cold, and snowy here) I was surprised when I  received several compliments, and people wanted to know where I bought it. I just smiled and said I made it, Grin then they all looked at me like I had grown a third head or something " YOU made it "? lol. Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Said I would add pic of new scarves. I made another pink frost/choc cake one and a choc frost white cake with pom-pom sprinkles (pom-poms glued on individually were a little tedious Undecided but turned out cute) I added a plate of crocheted oreos, and some real cupcakes, thanks for looking and have a great day

AHHH I LOVE CUPCAKES!
That is too cute!
Did you use a pattern, or did you just make it up as you went?

Thnks glad you all liked it, it is not my pattern, I found it on a great website www.craftbits.com They have crochet as well as knitting patterns on there.
Their pattern called for pompoms for the cherry, I didn't have any but I found some red yarn and made the cherries out of that:
I used: E hook chain 3(leave a long tail ) jn. ch 1 then just do 8 sc into ring, fasten off. then take your tail and close off the beginning hole. Thats it

Here's a link to the pattern on the website:

4  Toilet tissue in Crochet: Completed Projects by coffeenomore on: February 20, 2008 05:15:46 PM
I made this as a gag gift for my dsis. She is always running out of toilet tissue, now she will always have a "square to spare" (seinfield reference lol).  I glued it to an actual  cardboard roll to make it look more realistic. I think she will have a good chuckle.
Thanks for looking and have a great day!

I'm making 6 of these eggs as a gift, I'm going to use an egg carton to present them in. (making the egg look like an egg shape has been tricky for me for some reason Undecided) I decided to make them in all colors instead of just white, and am thinking of adding a few beads to some. Thanks for looking and have a great day

ps I made a choc kiss too, I didn't use a pattern for it just made it up as I went, now I have not a clue how I did it Sad Don't ya hate it when you don't write something down
