Here is a recipe, its similar to the original i found, but i didnt make that much so i just kinda eyeballed it.http://whatscookingamerica.net/PegW/Fondant.htm
I put about 15 big marshmellows in a bowl with a splash (like a table spoon)
mircowave for like 30 seconds, turn marshmellows over by stirring a bit, and mircowave again.
cover hands and surface with crisco (and the bowl once you take out the marshmellows if you plan putting them back)
it will be hot, but you should be able to kneed in sugar untill dough like, just give your hands a break now and then.
(one think i learned, make sure you sift the sugar. i thought the dough would pull apart any lumps but i was wrong)
once its done make a hole in it and kneed in food dye, if done well surprisingly you dont really get it on your hands
If it starts to get hard, apparently you can just nuke it again, but i didnt try.
(the cupcakes are just white cake mix)
