2  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Squeeeee-nix Swap? :P on: December 21, 2007 02:47:04 PM
Also known as Square Enix! I think this would be a lot of fun. I saw a Kingdom Hearts/Final Fantasy swap that was done, but it was awhile ago. Plus, maybe people have an interest BEYOND just KH and FF. I personally, don't. But, whatever Smiley

I think I posted here awhile back for just a plain KH swap, but I don't know if anyone was interested, so tryin again! Of course, sometime after the holidays ^_^
3  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Altoid Tin w/ a Christmas Twist?! on: November 27, 2007 11:09:08 AM
Kay so I think I just had a major awesome idea, but I don't know. That's why I'm posting here for feedback!

Awhile ago, I tried to get my mom and best friend involved in the Altoid Tin swap. But, alas, they weren't signed up for long enough. NOW, they are.

ANYWAY, my idea is this. It would be like the Altoid Tin swap, you would choose 5 themes you wouldn't mind receiving (Like, asian, purple, coffee, cats, and candy) but instead of just crafting any little items to fit inside the tin, you craft ornaments related to the craft! So if you wanted to craft for the Cats theme, craft the altoid tin according to "cats" and also make an ornament to fit inside the tin related to the theme.

I would like to make this more encompassing to other holidays, but I don't know much about them. If anyone else has ideas on this, please post! Cheesy Also, it would be a short and small swap since Christmas is SUPER busy. You just craft one altoid tin, and ONLY things big enough to fit inside the tin.

- Is not currently signed up for more than five swaps: Yes
- Does not have any negative feedback: Yes

Details of swap:
Well, I for one am a self-professed (and loving it Tongue) WoW and Blizzard nerd! My favorite thing is to combine my geeky side with my artsy, crafty side. So, thus, I looked and looked for a WoW or Blizzard swap, and alas, there were none currently going on! So I stepped up and decided to organize one myself (First time organizer eep!). Whether you are a newbie, or a seasoned veteran to World of Warcraft, you are welcome to join! If you would like your partner to craft for a friend or SO, thats fine too (Just be sure you get enough information for your partner!). I incorporated Blizzard for those of you that, like me, are also Blizzard fans. The more familiar games are Starcraft, Diablo, and the original Warcrafts, but if there is another Blizzard game you love, feel free to include that in your info. Also, I strongly encourage that if you are a diehard fan waiting for the release of Starcraft II, put that in the questionnaire also! The boyfriend and I are anxiously awaiting the release, tehe! Our focus will be on World of Warcraft, but if there are other Blizz games your partner likes, try and craft one of your items catered to that game as well! We will be crafting 1 large, 1 medium, and 1 small item.

6  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / World of Warcraft/Blizzard Swap? on: September 20, 2007 10:19:44 AM
Hello all!

I haven't been swapping for very long here on Craftster (I'm involved with 2 swaps currently though! I'm an addict), though I have been swapping for awhile (My mom used to sign me up to swap with her online groups Smiley I loved it).

So, the boyfriend and I were thinking, we are huge geeks, WoW especially, but more than that, We're Blizz geeks in general. I am SO looking forward to the release of Starcraft II, and what better way to release some of my excitement than crafting stuff from it?!

Soo, I was thinking, who would want to participate in a Blizzard/World of Warcraft Swap?
7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Long Time Lurker, First Post! (Picture OBESE) on: June 02, 2007 10:41:59 AM
Hello Every-body. I have been sewing since I was about 8 years old. Last summer I discovered T-Shirt Surgery! :O I fell in love. No more obnoxious patterns for me!

I have lurked here for a long LONG time, and recently decided to start posting! Smiley

Anywho, these are some of my earliest recons (The black Milk halter shirt was my first Smiley )

Green and black polka-dots. Made from a HUGE old lady shirt. Oh, and I'm not big on before pics.. Sorry x.x!
