1  Re: Decked Out for Deathly Hallows Part II GALLERY! in The Swap Gallery by mpemporium on: July 14, 2011 03:37:34 PM
I received a lovely big box from KatMonstah, filled with lots of goodies Grin

In the purple boxes there are Cockroach Clusters, Pink Coconut Ice and Crystalised Pinapple Pieces, and they are all scrumptious! Cheesy (I have been eating lots)

There was also a Death Eater mask, some temporary tattoos and a slytherin bracelet! Cheesy I have wanted some of those tattoos for ages, so they will be very useful, as will the mask.

Thank you so much for my awesome parcel Grin Cheesy Grin

I received from Amycavy  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

I apologise for the delay in posting the pictures.

Here be the treasure...

Amycavy sent a fabulous picture with my favourite quote on, which went straight on my wall, next to my Pink pirate flag! I also got a really cute Jack-in-a-Bag - Jack is going to sit in my car and go on adventures with me, and a funky bracelet made with a scrabble tile. I also got some treasure!  Grin

Thank you so much!   Grin:D Grin Cheesy Grin

Ooh, buttons are so cool - I have just inherited a load from my Grandmother, and I had great fun delving into them!

I love the photograph of the rooftops Smiley

Here are the awesome items that I received from lemonianta:

A bag in Coventry's football colours (which has been put to use already), and an elephant bookmark to go with it:

A close-up of the elephant:

A group shot of all the loot Smiley

I also received some postcards and a bracelet from lemonianta from Northern Ireland, but unfortunately I don't have a picture of them yet...

Thank you lemonianta for being such a wonderful swap partner Smiley

Maybe include a few free leaftets?

Also, it would be awesome to post or add links to some photos of either local places or your favourite places in the UK.

Some examples:
* bookmarks (any craft)
* teatowel
* decorated picture frame/book relating to the area

In an effort to keep postage costs down, this will be a medium sized swap, comprising of 3 points, where a large item is 3 points, a medium is 2 points, and a small is 1 point.

Large, medium and small items are defined as the following:

I received from teffy:

A selection of American items - a flag, a patch, which is going straight on my camp blanket and a liberty bell magnet which is now on my fridge

A Girl Scout tin, with cookies (which were awesome - I ate them all) and sweets

A selection of postcards and key rings.

The softest scarf ever, and a pair of earrings made of folded magazine pages

Teffy also sent me a selection of patches. These are also going on my camp blanket

Thank you so much teffy for such an awesome parcel of goodies Smiley

I have received!  Grin

This is what I found in my wonderful package from shortern yesterday:

A copy of shortern's daily university paper, which has some interesting articles about camping in, which I'm dying to read. Hopefully there will be some ideas in there for Guide camp next year!

An American flag bandanna, which is really cool, and some ribbon to match - I'll definately be using that! Also, some Reeses peanut butter cups - as soon as I saw them I was so happy! I love peanut butter and have heard of, but never tried these before. They are scrumptious! Thank you so much Cheesy

A red bandanna - how did you know I love bandannas? Some Kent State University socks (which I am wearing right now), a necklace made with brown sparkly beads, a beer mat for a local brewery which is located on the site of an old railway station, and some postcards of the University campus. (I didn't know you could get black squirrels - very cool)

(Sorry for the shocking photo) This is a 'Police Line Do Not Cross' scarf from my Wist - it is awesome, and I love you shortern for making me one! You can see the necklace here too.

Here is another shot - not quite sure why it has rotated...

Thank you for being an awesome swap partner Smiley

10  UK Craftseter Swap in New Swap Theme Ideas by mpemporium on: April 04, 2010 08:13:10 AM
Is there any interest for a swap between us craftsters living in the UK?

Postage and packaging would cost much less - any ideas on what to swap?

Also, would anyone want to organise?
