1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Need help finding a tutorial on: May 11, 2012 11:03:51 AM
Hey Smiley

Was just hoping some one could help me out.  I've been invited to go out in fancy dress next weekend, and I've decided to go as a zebra.  Only problem is I'm not quite sure how to make the costume....  I was thinking of making it cave girl-esque,  maybe either a one sleeve dress or shorts and a bralet top.  I was just hoping some one could point me in the direction of a useful tutorial or just give us some advice??

Also all this will be hand sown as I no longer have a sowing machine at uni Sad

Thank you! Smiley

6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Mummy,, There's animals around my crotch (Pic heavy) on: April 01, 2007 11:26:32 AM
Well,,
I've noticed alot of people have lately been making circle skirts,
Thought I'd have a go at it,
Seen astho it's turning into skirt wearing weather and I only seem to have one skirt =[

Anyway,
I found this adorable fabric for 99p per metre,
And thus had to make a skirt from it =]
So here it is,,,

7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / So my friend,,, on: March 22, 2007 01:31:50 AM
Recently give me these,,

CHEF PANTS!!!

2 problems tho,,

1- He is a rather large character, against petite me, so the pants are slightly balloonish on me,

2- I would like to make the pants into a skirt, posaiable a 'circle' skirt,
  - Hmm I'm not a huge fan of short tight skirts,,
And from previous attempts of making skirts from jeans (aged 9) cutting from the crotch just doen't work,,

So any help would be grateful
=]

Sorry if this is in the wrong place,,
