Or bath puff, if you wanna call it that.  I hate the way the commercial ones fall apart and basically suck.

I found the pattern over on Rav and whipped this up in the surg waiting room yesterday.  It's crocheted out of one skein of Sugar 'n Cream, and it's SO soft!

I'm so proud of the way these turned out!  I used this pattern, and they were really easy to make.  I'm trying to finish up things for my new nephew so I can send them all at once.

I'm still in the early stages of "beginner" in beading, but I wanted to show the bracelet I made the other day.  I used the tute that alohamom2three posted for her bracelets.  Since my focal beads are bigger, I added 6 seed beads instead of 4.  My seed beads are clear with silver centers.

I have despised this pink stuff since June.  We ripped out the whole bathroom and redid it from floor to ceiling.

The bath tub is behind the door.  It was pink also and had a salmon-colored tile on the walls.  We ripped all of that down and put in a white tub and white surround on the walls.  I haven't finished the decorating part yet, but at least the construction aspect is complete!

We've been remodeling the house since we bought it in June, and my craft room kept getting pushed to the back burner.  It's time *finally* came, and I just LOVE it!  I wish I had more time to spend in it now.

The baskets on the shelf over the window hold my yarn.  I have a tiny stash.   The table is for my sewing machine.


My wonderful hubby built both of my craft tables on this side.


I LOVE having all these bins labeled for my different supplies.


Instead of going for ceramic tile, mortar, grout, and all of that this time, I opted for this peel and stick vinyl tile, and I love it.  It's easy clean-up for my inky and painty messes, and it was a quick install.


This is what we started with.  The thought of that gross carpet and ripped paneling makes me shudder!  The baseboard heaters came out, too.

I do *now*!

Since we bought our house back in June, our bedroom remodel kept getting pushed back for other rooms to be done.  We had enough this weekend, so we finally did it.

I still have to make curtains, recover the headboard, and do something with the closet doors, but I'm absolutely thrilled with the outcome. 


New carpet


We started out with "old man drab", terribly stained beige carpet, "institution green" walls, and gross brownish-yellowy doors.  The colors aren't true in this before pic.  The Hub took out the baseboard heater, and I cut out and replaced drywall.  We took out the window a/c unit also.




This room has gone from hated to most favorite in the house now. 

After my frustration with frogging b/c of the pattern correction, I finally finished it!  I love the way it turned out, and I already have another one in line to be made.

After seeing nika74's Gir jacket, my oldest daughter had to have one.  Going totally off the pics and with no pattern, I managed to pull it off.  She loves it!  She put it on when she unwrapped it this morning and hasn't taken it off all day.



And since my youngest daughter LOVES green and monkeys, I decided to give hoodie-making another shot.  This is how hers turned out.  I used an iron-on for the patch, but I may replace it with an embroidered one if this one doesn't hold up well in the laundry.

One of DD#2's Christmas prezzies...I started out trying to make this cute little boy monkey, but it morphed as I went along.

As you can tell, something went wonky along the way.  I tried to fix it by giving her hair, but it turned out like dreds.  Oh well, my daughter loves her anyway.

Just goofing around with some leftover chenille yarn, mini buttons, and a bow.  Finished item is about 3"x3".
