Onto orange. I was about to pass on orange b/c it just doesn't suit me at all so I never wear it or buy anything in that colour... but my youngest loves orange so I made this little item for her. I still need a chain to put it on but anyways here it is.

And while I was making the bracelet I was inspired to make this *I heart BUTTONS* brooch.

Here's one of my yellow crafts that I've gotten finished so far. I've been calling it a notebook-carry-all that fits the small but "fat" mini notebooks and has pockets for various what-nots and I've stitched one of the pockets to hold a pen without it falling out every 2 seconds.



And the inside... ya I know it's not yellow on the inside but incase someone was curious what the inside looked like.... 


(hmmm.... some flowers on the inside would look cute I'll bet!  )

I bought these beads recently and figured I would try my hand at some different jewelry then I usually make.





And bonus is that they perfectly match my favourite new outfit too! Gotta love when that happens!

Here's my latest project which brings back memories of my mom making these "way back when" 



I think though that the next one I make will be more like bag klynslis made. But, so far this one is holding up well considering my "little darlings" helped me cut the bags and some spots were very very thin -- but hey it IS holding up! 

Yay my first yo-yo baby blanket is done!



I am already working on the next one with more pinks/peach/purples.

I loved making this blanket and already started making another one!



I made this one as part of the yo-yo crochet along!

I had some left over fabric from making sundresses for my girls so I made these 2 skirts:





I actually removed the lace from some bedsheets that my neighbour gave to me about a year ago -- they are not the standard size for North American beds so they've actually never been used.


And this is a recon that in the process of being re-reconned again. When my DD put it on last weekend the sleeves looked very wrong... so I've cut them off and I'm just doing the same thing as I did around the v-neck (it was orignally a round neckline).

I just HAD to give this a try. I used wax paper like the You Tube video suggested and it worked great. There was no smell at all (and therefore I'm assuming no toxic fumes either).

I was very happy with how easily it sewed together and also that I could cut it easily on my scrapbooking cutting board!

Here's the end result:

I just made this skirt for her and I only have some fairly good sized scraps of material left but not enough to make the actual top that comes with the pattern.  So I was thinking of winging something but I am drawing complete blanks as to what to do. It needs to be good/appropriate for school/church too. I was thinking of a shirred tube top but that would not be good for school/church..... see I am drawing a blank!
