11  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Shop the Swap 19 Discussion Thread on: October 11, 2008 10:45:57 AM
Love the fabric PO!!  How big would the pouch be?  Zippered pouch?
Was thinking 10ins long by 7ins deep with a zipper - big enough for pens, pencils etc Smiley

Ptarmic I'm excited to see your fishies!

Aww Reese, hopefully next month people will be thinking more of Christmas shopping so you'll sell more at the bazaar!

I have some of this Repro Depot canvas left from a project; would anyone be interested in a pencil case made from it? Either that or I could list it as a supply.
13  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Ongoing Wish Swap Round 39 on: October 10, 2008 11:29:00 AM
I claim Cya for any interesting fabric, fabric scraps for appliques, colorful trims, colorful elastic or elastic thread, rickrack, bias tape... anything except black or white lace and thread, any color. Smiley

This is my 2nd claim this round and I'm in the UK. I love natural fibres, plaids/tartan and muted colours (brown, grey, navy, greens) Recycled/thrifted materials are always cool with me!

Crafts

Homemade lip balm tubes.

A little spice kit.

Pyjama bottoms. I like old fashioned mens' style but my legs are too short and my rear is too large 'curvy' to buy men's ones Cheesy

Machine washable fabric slippers. I like ones that go all the way round the foot; my 'hotel' style ones always fall off when I'm going up the stairs!

A slouchy winter hat (I love designs like this) in grey or brown. If it was cotton or a cotton blend that'd be extra brilliant.

I have this super-cute notepad and would like something that holds it and a pen (perhaps this sort of construction although it wouldn't need a fastener and I'd prefer a more plain, darker fabric.)

Notepads/journals. I like big ones, (A4-ish) these look great: recycled comb-bound notepads.

Something with a flat bottom to carry makeup, shampoo etc to and from the bathroom (perhaps a fabric bucket, box bag or mini hamper?)

Supplies

A mini herb garden starter set (I don't need the pots, have lots from my late grandma's garden). I'd love to begin one this year, to grow herbs I can use in cooking.

A bobbin holder.

I'm getting back into baking and would love some of the flatpack paper boxes you put cakes/buns/cookies in when giving them to people; any size.

6-hole paper hole punch.

Dried rose petals/lavender/other botanicals for making scented sachets.

Magnetic bag fasteners.

I would love some nice leather-ish shoulder straps to make myself a great bag.

Christmas fabric (FQ or yardage - anything that's not really religious or overly kiddy-ish would be great.)

I'd really love the book 'Claires Cats'

Iron-on interfacing (medium/heavy weight).

A large black ink pad. Pre-used is just fine.

Extras

Green/fruity/mint tea, I especially love 'Celestial Seasonings' from the US, individual sachets or mini samples are great too; I love trying different teas.

Reese's caramel peanut cups from the US (for my dear mum who loves them Smiley)

Thank you anyone who picks one of my wishes!
