Poerava that's beautiful!
2  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: 4inch Squares Baby Blanket - gingham, spots, solids and teddy bears! on: October 13, 2008 11:10:39 AM
That is such a sweet quilt!
But what I really love (and am quite jealous of) is the fact that u did it together!

Thank you! Hehe I seem to have converted him to crafting which is great; means we have a shared interest now Smiley

The quilt looks great and big. The parents to be should be able to get a lot of use out of it. And if my opinion is worth anything, I definitely would consider it gender neutral.

Yay thanks, that's good to hear. I can't wait to give it to them!

I've been very bad and not made anything for my shop in ages as I've been too busy working on a baby blanket. Now that's finished I will get crafting!

In the meantime, have put mini button stashes in my supply section... mmm... buttons Cheesy

4  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / 4inch Squares Baby Blanket - gingham, spots, solids and teddy bears! on: October 13, 2008 09:35:40 AM
My other half and I just finished this blanket for his soon-to-be-born niece or nephew Smiley

Close up:

We quilted it in the ditch with a yellow leaf-shape stitch I'd never used before. The back's bright yellow too. It was hard to keep it gender neutral but I think overall it worked!

Beautiful! I may attempt something similar for my mum's 60th birthday - she loves Celtic knots.
