I'm finally able to post pictures of what Miss Creative DollBecky sent me!!!! Cheesy I love everything!!! I've got a lotta pics, so hopefully you gals won't mind if they take a minute to load... lol!

Here's everything together! So much Sublime Stitching and extra goodies!!

Here's the front of the needlebook DollBecky sent me.
I've been wanting one of these for SO long because I'm always losing my needles.

Lots of thread inside (yay)!
The green pouch on the bottom left was FULL of buttons, shrinky dinks, pins, and more!

Another "page" inside the needlebook. More thread!!!
And an extra pink pouch inside to hold scraps and smaller things that I'm working on.

The back of the needlebook... have I mentioned how happy I am to receive one of these?
It's so well made and makes me want to start stitching away right now! Grin

Some patches with SS patterns on them.. just ready and waiting to be embroidered!
I love the anatomy heart. I've been wanting to stitch that from the minute I saw it!
And the zombie girl is perfect because my hubby and I are huge zombie/blood/gore fans.
Also in the pic are some extra googley eyes and buttons she sent!

Librarian (I LOVE to read!) stitched onto a tea towel that DollBecky made me.
Also in the pic are stamps she sent me and a few of the shrinky dink charms she made.

I couldn't believe how cool this looked stitched onto that towel... Jenny Hart's autograph!!! Cheesy
Thank you soooooooo much! This towel is in my kitchen right now, I love it!

A super sweet bookmark DollBecky made, some extra pink & red barrettes for my hair (she knows my style
and favorite colors.. geez, thank you girly!!), a shrinky dink beaded stretch necklace
with a Kurt Halsey pattern, and also the side of the needlebook I mentioned before.

Sorry this picture came out so foggy-looking and weird,
but here's some of the shrinky dink charms she sent!
I love cupcakes, so I was really excited that she sent these!
Everything's so cute!

THANK YOU DOLLBECKY!!!!!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!! I love everything! And all the extras you included are awesome! Cheesy Thank you!!!!!!!

And just because I'm in a photo-postin' mood... here's some of what I made her before I sent out:

8  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Re: First Married Christmas Gift Ideas? on: November 23, 2008 01:00:30 PM
Congrats!!! Cheesy

Not really crafty, but my husband and I bought an ornament on our honeymoon (Disney World, luckily in November they were already displaying their Christmas stuff for sale) that we could hang on the tree. Every year that we buy new ornaments we ALWAYS write the year on them with a Sharpie! We have stories for each ornament and it's good to know what year we found them. In the future I hope to show my kid(s) the ornaments and continue adding to our crazy collection!

Maybe you could make an ornament with a wedding picture inside, I'm thinking of polymer clay possibly? Definitely something that says "Just Married" or the cheesy "Our First Christmas" because they look so cute! Smiley

I agree on the pillow idea.. this sounds awesome! You could make a new one every year to display!

Some DIY holiday cards to send out would be cool too... if you're good with a photo-editing program on your computer you could include a wedding picture and some holiday images/border. I used scrapbook paper and winter stamps for our 1st holiday cards as Mr. and Mrs. and included a picture from our wedding. Unfortunately I didn't finish them all so only half of our family received them in the mail and the other got the boring store-bought cards! If this is something you think you want to do, WeddingBee.com usually has good ideas for crafty brides and new wifeys! Smiley You may have to search around in the older entries though. I used a good tutorial that a girl posted a few years ago!

Am I the only one who is noticing how quiet it is in here?
It is wayyyyyyyyy too quiet! Fellow swappers, let's make some noise! Cheesy

My progress update:
- I'm about 80% finished with one item for my partner (I'll be completely finished with it as soon as I pop into a craft store for something... Wink I think my partner's gonna love this one!).
- I'm about 10% finished with my biggest item (as of tomorrow I'll be gone for a week to Myrtle Beach, but I plan on bringing this item with me so I can work on it in the car while hubby drives!).
- Finished a tiny somethin'-somethin' for my partner, but now I think I'm going to be making more for her! So we'll see how that goes.
- Have a few more ideas that need further planning! Smiley

How is everyone else doing?
