I love that package Kpuppy!! I know your partner will really enjoy it. And all of these coffee sleeves are just amazing! Cheesy

I meant to post this earlier, but I posted it in my blog and completely forgot about posting it here too! Silly me. But I just wanted to show you all this great ATC that Selise made and sent me! I've never received an ATC before, so this was my very first! I love it!!

12  Re: HELLO KITTY AND FRIENDS SWAP GALLERY. in The Swap Gallery by AllieStar on: October 12, 2006 08:36:11 PM
I was supposed to post these pictures dayyyyys ago, but I'm a little late. Anyway.. I received this super cute HK & Friends Swap package from polkadotcupcake! This is her first swap and she did a GREAT JOB! Here's the pictures of what she sent me, but I apologize beforehand about any bad photo shots. Everything's really cute! Cheesy

We both love cupcakes, so she made an adorable one with Chococat on top! Mmm mmm cute!

Excuse the gross chipped-off nailpolish Tongue

She made this fuzzy pink leopard print clutch bag with Hello Kitty jeweled on it, but it's hard to see her in this picture...

Hmm, what's inside, I wonder? I'll show him in just a sec Wink

It was really hard to get a decent picture of it, but polkadotcupcake put an adorable HK face with little gems on the bottom!

I listed in my Wist a plushie green tea bag like the one I saw somewhere here on Craftster. So my partner stalked me and made one just like I wanted! I was really surprised to get this! I LOVE IT!

My own green tea plushie... with HK on it!
Cheesy THANK YOU POLKADOTCUPCAKE! Cheesy

She sewed together a really beautiful pink purse with 2 of my loves... no wait, 4 loves! (pink, HK, coffee, cupcakes!)

front

back!

I loooove that she used coffee fabric as the inside lining of the bag. And it was made beautifully! She's a pro! Smiley

polkadotcupcake also threw in a bunch of neat-o stuff that I collect! She included more of that yummy coffee fabric so I can use it (I've already got plans for it!), candy, jelly bracelets, tons of stationary & stickers...

Sorry it took me a million years to post these pictures. I love everything she sent me!!! She also sent a few days earlier than the send-out date! Some of that Hello Kitty candy has already gone missing...  Wink Thank you so much polkadotcupcake! Superb job for a first-timer, I think! Thanks!! Kiss

13  Re: Tampon Case Swap Gallery!!!!! in The Swap Gallery by AllieStar on: September 21, 2006 08:06:52 AM
Here's pictures of what I sent to my partner (kneat)! Hope she liked everything. Smiley

Here's everything together. I sent my partner 2 tampon pouches (a red "discreet" one and another pink silly one). I also sent her a tampon stuffie toy.. thought it would be a fun surprise for her! Cheesy

(FRONT & BACK) Here's the felt tampon stuffed toy I sewed by hand and stuffed with cotton. I french-braided 3 white strings together, cut a tiny hole in the bottom on him, and then sewed it shut. Oh, and I also added a cute little heart on his booty!

(FRONT & BACK) Pink pouch that can hold 2 tampons.. or one "heavy"! It has a velcro closure, and wonkey eyes (which were kind of hard to fix, haha). I wanted to make another pouch with a "used tampon" on it (with red felt, not actual blood!) but I didn't want to offend my partner.. Or gross her out! So I stuck with a happy-tampon theme.

I didn't take any pics of the red pouch, and now I wish would have! It was the same size as the pink pouch and could hold 1-2 tampons inside. This swap was great. I had so much fun making the tampon stuffed toy, too!

Here's all the fun stuff that domUNIQUE made and sent to me for my tampons! I love it all!!!!!

everything together + a funny card she made!

Oh yum, a banana..

Eeek! It's no ordinary banana! It hides a tampon inside!

Oooh.. pretty butterfly...

Holy crap, it's another tampon holder! (P.S. Thank you domUNIQUE for making it pink & black, my favorite colors!)

It's a flower! A "tampon flower" to be exact Cheesy

I know this picture sucks.. but you can see how a tampon can hide inside and when you're ready to use it, just pull the tampon out!

Thank you soooooooooooooo much domUNIQUE! All 3 tampon holders are awesome! Thank you!!!

Yep, as you can see above.... I was completely IN LOVE with everything teapotdnky made and sent to me! Cheesy I almost cried, it was the best package I've ever received in my life! I was hugging everything and it all smelled sooooooo delicious! (more on that later...)

I took some peektures too, so lemme post 'em so you can see how crafty all these cupcakey treats really are:

I love this little guy! My new cupcake stuffie!
I've already added him to my plushie collection..
he's my favorite!

Adorable wrist warmers I plan on wearing,
these are sooo cute and they fit perfectly!!

teapotdnky did some stalking... I wisted a pair of vagina earrings not too long ago, so imagine how happy I was to receive this personalized "vagina star" necklace! It's so pretty and I can't wait to wear this baby to bars and whatnot, the looks on everyone's faces when they get a closer look will be priceless Cheesy The cupcakes are so lovely too!

A closer look of this awesome necklace!

VAGINA STAR!
my username! omg, I'm in love. *swoon*
teapotdnky is the best swap partner!!

When I opened her package up, I saw these (it was this morning and I didn't eat breakfast yet) and wanted to eat them! Don't they look REAL? They smell like pure heaven, like a kitchen should smell after baking cupcakes and icing them with sugary frosting. Mmm, can't tell you how much I love these Kiss Thank you!!

Feel free to drool... I did..
Yes, it's really SOAP!

Okay fellow cupcake-lovers, I saved the best for last Grin

A cupake scarf! Some are chocolate, some have sprinkles, some are just too cute! I cannot WAIT to wear this when the weather starts cooling off more (I live in South Carolina so it'll be awhile, unfortunately). I love this scarf! It's so warm, fuzzy and so yummy. Thank you so much!!! I love wearing scarves when it's cold outside and I'll definitely be wearing this :] Yay! I'm still so excited about everything I got in the mail!!

Thank you sooooooo much teapotdnky, this was such a fun package! You really made everything personalized for me and did such a great job! Not to mention everything in the package smelled sooo good because of the soaps! Mmm yum!

THANK YOU! Cheesy

Here's everything all together. She sent a coupon organizer that I has listed on my Wist and wanted soooo bad ever since I saw it on Craftster. I love it! She also sent a cupcake tshirt (I'm obsessed with yummy food crafts), a bag that she printed off all kinds of cute stuff about me and my guy, some sweet wedding/love magnets, and extra stickers that are soooo pretty!

(The back of the bag!) She printed off this picture that I had on my Myspace! So awesome! Cheesy

My new cupcake shirt!

My own "cheap ass bitch" coupon holder/organizer (there's one on Craftster just like it that I wanted)! Loooove love love love this! Lauren really did some stalking on this one.. I've wanted a new coupon organizer for a long time! Yay, thank you!!! Kiss

(The back of coupon holder box) Weee! Also pictured are the wedding and heart magnets, and super sweet wedding stickers I'll be using!

THANK YOU LAUREN (offnlalaland54)!!!!! It was so much fun! Grin

17  Re: AQUA TEEN CAKES in Dessert by AllieStar on: June 25, 2006 03:36:33 PM
I know this thread is a little old... but I wanted to share the cake I made!

My fiance and I whipped this baby up pretty fast for our friend's birthday. He's obsessed with Aqua Teen Hunger Force and loves Meatwad (who doesn't?), so we made him this.

We used 2 round cake pans for the two layers, red velvet cake mix (so the inside would also be red), mixed food color dye in with regular icing to create a dark meat-y color (unfortunately, it looks pink in this picture), then made more colored icing with food dye for Meatwad's face.

Sorry I only have one picture, this yummy cake was eaten up in a few hours!  Cheesy

18  Re: Smokers Ages 18+ Swap in The Swap Gallery by AllieStar on: May 28, 2006 10:56:21 AM
Sorry for the long wait you guys! I finally uploaded this picture. Here's the gifts I made for Starwings20 and sent to her! Here's two pouches I made for her to store her cigarettes/lighter/keys in and I embroidered a star on one (we both like stars) and another with a cigarette and smoke. I also made her two pens that I covered with polymer clay to look like cigarettes! Cheesy

19  Re: Smokers Ages 18+ Swap in The Swap Gallery by AllieStar on: May 21, 2006 11:52:09 AM
I meant to post these pictures last night, but I went to bed early like an old lady. Anyway, I've been raving to everyone about these awesome crafts I received from Starwings20! This girl has major talent, I would've never imagined this was her 1st swap! Cheesy

Everything together.. (don't worry, I've got more pics to show!)

I mentioned to Starwings20 in our emails back & forth that I collect all kinds of things, including pirate stuff. Here's a really funky coaster she made (in pink, my favorite color!). Notice that she also added a sprinkle of tobacco inside the coaster. I don't know how she did it, but I love how unique it is!

A crocheted ashtray with a cig! Too cool! Grin It looks so real!! I plan on using this as a pincushion for sewing. Or just leaving this out on the coffeetable and seeing how many people think it's real, LOL!

Here's a box that she included a (sweet!) letter inside. It's so cool, you just open the box by the velcro, and store things inside! Here's what the inside looks like:

Lots of little stars (which we both like!).. this girl knows the way to my heart Cheesy

Check this out... she MADE this ashtray! It matches the coaster pictured above, it's pink and features a snazzy pirate lighting his cigarette! Unfortunately, the wrapping paper stuck a little bit to the gloss over the pirate (probably while it was on it's way through many states to get here, we live on opposite ends of USA!), but I plan on cleaning it up a bit and getting that off. Then using it as a change-holder or to drop my keys in when I come home. I don't want to use it as an ashtray because I'm too scared I'll ruin it. I love it!!!

Yep, that's a crocheted ciggy/lighter holder that she made me in the 2 colors I told her that I love (pink & black)! Thank you so much Starwings20, this is my favorite gift ever! My cigarettes and lighter fit perfectly inside! Also, she made a shrinkydink charm that says "ALLIE'S SMOKES". Too awesome!!!  Grin Oh, but that's just the beginning of the shrinkydink charm heaven she sent...

Coffee stirrers! With shrinkydink charms at the end! That are personalized!!!! Yay!!! (Sorry, I'm still a little excited over these!) She included these because she found out I love coffee, and of course coffee & cigarettes go together perfectly. They're really cool, I hope you can read in the picture some of the sayings: "Allie's coffee", "The best part of waking up!" (I sing the  Folgers coffee commercial everytime I read that!), and "Cigarette please!" These are so cool! Cheesy

Sorry, I'm still way excited over my gifts from Starwings20! I LOVE everything she made!!!! I plan on using everything. I can't thank you enough Jennifer! THANK YOU!!!!!! You're so talented and creative and so sweet!!!

Now I totally think my sent items suck compared to hers  Undecided

20  There's a CUPCAKE on my SHIRT! in Sublime Stitching Embroidery by AllieStar on: March 16, 2006 11:09:47 PM
i've been practicing stitches for awhile now, usually on left-over fabric or stuff i was going to throw away. so i pretty much just started doing embroidery in the last month or two. i bought some patterns from Jenny and i finally completed my first embroidery project! it didn't take long at all! i had so much fun doing it and i can't wait to make gifts for friends/family!

i'm on this huge embroidery kick now... i feel like embroidering everything!

for this cupcake tshirt, i used:
1.) Sublime Stitching pattern ("Krazy Kitchen")
2.) an iron
3.) old pair of scissors
4.) embroidery thread in brown, pink, and red
5.) green plastic hoop to hold fabric
6.) embroidery needle
7.) white shirt (not pictured)

and here's the results! i whipped this little dessert out in less than 30mins!
that's much faster than what my oven could do  Wink

i was thinking of filling in the "icing" part with French Knots (i think that's what they're called?) with different colors so it would look like sprinkles! but i kind of like the simplicity of it now.

i LOVE anything food-related, so i can't wait to use all of the transfers in the "Krazy Kitchen" patterns on tea towels and more shirts and tanktops (for the spring/summer)!

i even got my dog's paw of approval  Cheesy  haha, cheesy, i know.

the next project i'd like to start on is pillowcases for my boyfriend & i. he's really into pirates and skulls, so i think i'm going to use Jenny's pirate patterns for them and also try embroidering our names on each pillowcase. i'm a little nervous about that, my handwriting is far from "pretty". haha!

anyway, thank you for taking the time to look at this! take care!
