I'm finally able to post pictures of what Miss Creative DollBecky sent me!!!! Cheesy I love everything!!! I've got a lotta pics, so hopefully you gals won't mind if they take a minute to load... lol!

Here's everything together! So much Sublime Stitching and extra goodies!!

Here's the front of the needlebook DollBecky sent me.
I've been wanting one of these for SO long because I'm always losing my needles.

Lots of thread inside (yay)!
The green pouch on the bottom left was FULL of buttons, shrinky dinks, pins, and more!

Another "page" inside the needlebook. More thread!!!
And an extra pink pouch inside to hold scraps and smaller things that I'm working on.

The back of the needlebook... have I mentioned how happy I am to receive one of these?
It's so well made and makes me want to start stitching away right now! Grin

Some patches with SS patterns on them.. just ready and waiting to be embroidered!
I love the anatomy heart. I've been wanting to stitch that from the minute I saw it!
And the zombie girl is perfect because my hubby and I are huge zombie/blood/gore fans.
Also in the pic are some extra googley eyes and buttons she sent!

Librarian (I LOVE to read!) stitched onto a tea towel that DollBecky made me.
Also in the pic are stamps she sent me and a few of the shrinky dink charms she made.

I couldn't believe how cool this looked stitched onto that towel... Jenny Hart's autograph!!! Cheesy
Thank you soooooooo much! This towel is in my kitchen right now, I love it!

A super sweet bookmark DollBecky made, some extra pink & red barrettes for my hair (she knows my style
and favorite colors.. geez, thank you girly!!), a shrinky dink beaded stretch necklace
with a Kurt Halsey pattern, and also the side of the needlebook I mentioned before.

Sorry this picture came out so foggy-looking and weird,
but here's some of the shrinky dink charms she sent!
I love cupcakes, so I was really excited that she sent these!
Everything's so cute!

THANK YOU DOLLBECKY!!!!!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!! I love everything! And all the extras you included are awesome! Cheesy Thank you!!!!!!!

And just because I'm in a photo-postin' mood... here's some of what I made her before I sent out:

I love this!!!! Great job! Cheesy I hate to bother you with annoying questions, but how many coats of Mod Podge did you have to use? Where did you find the awesome picture?

I'm asking because I'm trying to do my bathroom in pirates, but mostly skulls! I have this shower curtain and I'm trying to decorate everything around it. So far, I have some embroidered (thanks to Sublime Stitching) pictures up, black towels, and black/pirate bathroom things.

4  Re: Set of Tea Towels Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by AllieStar on: October 04, 2008 02:48:29 PM
I recieved my towels yesterday, but haven't been able to get online until now to post these pictures! I'm soooooooo in love with my towels that SampsonsLynnie made me! They're all so cute!!! Cheesy

Everything together: all 3 towels, a super cute letter on Hello Kitty stationery, some tea that I can't wait to try (my partner is a tea-aholic, and I'm a coffee-lover.. but I've been wanting to try some new tea for awhile now! All I've really tried before is green tea! I'm a newbie when it comes to tea!), some AWESOME embroidery patterns that I forgot to take a picture of (they're folded up in this picture grr!), and some pretty sequins that I'm going to use on something pretty!

Yes, that's right ladies..... "COOKING MAMA"!!!! Grin I mentioned to SampsonsLynnie that I've been playing "Cooking Mama" on my Nintendo DS lately and I'm addicted to these types of games, and she surprised me with this adorable design!! I love it so much and I'm sooo wanting to invite people over just so they can walk in my kitchen and check out this cutie! It's perfect!

Close-up..

A CUPCAKE! My own little "home sweet home" to dream about! This is too too too cute for words!!

Close-up..

This design is sooooo beautiful! I love the colors she chose for this one. Everything is so perfect and you wouldn't believe how pretty the BACK of this towel is too! She did a really beautiful job on this! I love the birds!! Cheesy

Close-up of her perfect stitching..

5  Re: Sublime Stitching Swap in New Swap Theme Ideas by AllieStar on: September 27, 2008 04:20:36 PM
Woohooo! Embroidery, swapping, and Sublime Stitching patterns! Cheesy

Here's another idea.. I started reading the things Crafty Gurlllll listed off as some crafts to make with the patterns. In March 07, I made some shrinky dink charms with Jenny's patterns! I traced the patterns onto shrinky dink paper with a marker and colored them how I wanted, hole-punched the top and used my scissors to cut around the pictures and new hole, then baked the shrinky dink paper in the oven, and had my own charms to play with or add to necklaces:

The donuts were my own little drawing, but I added them in the picture! Wink They kinda remind me of Homer Simpson's favorite donuts.. lol.

Chihuahua shrinky dink charm after it was baked, next to one of the patterns for size difference.

There's soooooo many things you can make with Sublime Stitching patterns!
Count me in for this swap! Grin

6  Re: peanut butter & nutella brownies! in Dessert by AllieStar on: August 21, 2008 12:13:47 AM
My hubbie and I made these last night, and we are STILL munching down on them! They're so good! We used all the ingredients that were listed in your recipe and they turned out great (although we did take our brownies out of the oven earlier at 20-25mins, and they passed the toothpick-test!).

Thanks SO much for the recipe, and yummmm... Nutella! Cheesy

Here's what I made & sent to my wonderful partner mistress_batty! LOL, I'm finally home and able to post pictures! Grin

The blue book in this picture is a journal! I made a remove-able cover for a journal with a cupcake on it since she likes to write. Oh, and the cupcake is poofy! Cheesy

Mistress_batty makes purses and she sews a lot, so I made her this cupcake pincushion so she can store all her pins into something cute!

A cookie (with icing & sprinkles!) brooch she can wear on her jackets.

Yuck.. sorry this picture came out terrible! Here's a few polymer clay things I made her that she can make into jewelry or stitch markers or anything she wants! Cupcakes, ice cream cones, and another cookie with sprinkles & icing.

Here's some notecards (blank inside) I made her so she can write down sweet words and send them to anyone! I used a stamp I found at Michael's craft store, then colored it in with pencils and a glitter pen.

A closer look at one of the notecards. Smiley

8  Re: Coffee, coffee, coffee Swap! GALLERY of coffee goodness! in The Swap Gallery by AllieStar on: December 07, 2006 02:05:44 PM
Hey everyone!!! Grin Here's everything I sent to my awesome partner, Javastain!

Everything together...

Polymer clay "coffee beans" stitch markers!

A polymer clay "coffee cup" charm that she can put on her jacket or anywhere to display her love for coffeeeee! Smiley

I didn't make these, but I've had them for a long time! I found them at a thrift store in Louisiana a couple years ago, so I sent some to Javastain. The inside says the When, Where, What's for a coffee party or gathering. I think they're really cute!

Black purse with a coffee cup, and embroidered steam!

And lastly, here's 2 teatowels that I embroidered from my favorite "Aunt Martha" patterns. I handwashed them in hot water (completely forgetting that they might shrink a little!) so they dried looking a little puckered Undecided At least my oven/stove got cleaned for this mini-photoshoot! LOL Cheesy

Are you guys ready to see what mistress_batty (our organizer) sent me???  Grin

She actually sent me all this cool stuff  weeeeeeeks ago, and I'm just now getting around to posting pictures of everything! I love it all! Just check it out for yourself!

A pink striped cupcake bag!
And this baby is big!!
I've already started using it!

The inside of the bag.. she used yummy cake lining fabric! It's so adorable! Some of the cakes on the print look like beautiful wedding cakes, and some of the cakes look like whimsical birthday cakes Cheesy

Woooohoo! On the left is a cross stitch project she made with my name and ice cream cones! In the middle (I love Craftster stalkers! She found this on my Wist!) is a cherry potholder for my kitchen that she made. On the right is an adorable letter she wrote me, but I really love the cupcake she drew! So cute!

Here's a closer look at that cross stitch project she made me.. It says my name "ALLIE" with ice cream cones!!! Cheesy Yay! I plan on finding a small frame and putting this baby up on the wall in my craft room. And maybe painting ice cream cones on the frame.. hmm, ideas ideas... Anyway, yes, I love this!!!

A suuuuper fuzzy and warm scarf! She knitted this in red & black (my favorite color combo!) and at the ends of them she sewed on cute little cupcakes! With beaded sprinkles! I love mistress_batty!

A closer look at those cupcakes....
Aren't they adorable? Smiley

And last but definitely not least: I mentioned in my questionnaire that I didn't know how to crochet, but I really wish I could learn. Well miss thang sent me TONS of yarn, 2 hooks, and lots of instructions & patterns for a cupcake hat, ice cream cones, all kinds of sweet treat crocheted stuff!!! And if you look at the bottom of the pic, you can see I already started learning the first easy step of crochet! Wink I can't thank mistress_batty enough for sending me all kinds of yarn to crochet with..... tomorrow I'm leaving for a trip and I'll be riding in the car for 7 HOURS! I'll have something fun to make the time go by faster!

I love everything I received! mistress_batty is such an awesome partner (and organizer)! Sweetie, THANK YOU!! FOR EVERYTHING!

And thank you to everyone else in this swap for inspiration, everyone's made really sweet stuff! Kiss

10  Re: Coffee, coffee, coffee Swap! GALLERY of coffee goodness! in The Swap Gallery by AllieStar on: November 22, 2006 10:53:32 AM
Eeeek, I have been SO busy lately with everything in life. I won't go into excuses, but I've been majorly busy with non-crafty things. Anyway, I received my amazinggggg package from my main lady (ha!) Miss Javastain awhile back and here's some pics of what she made me!

I love everything!! Cheesy

Here's the whole loot! Well, minus one thing.. more on that later!

She sent me:
* 2 big blue Starbucks "Boo!" coffee mugs
* a white coffee holder in a knitted to-go style Wink
* 2 new bookmarks, which I needed desperately!
* a very sweet letter
* TONS of new stationary envelopes with coffee & my addy on them!
* 2 black & red (my fave color combo!) knitted coffee mug holders
* an awesome red & black bracelet (that fits perfectly!!)
* lip balm in 2 delicious and very yummy flavors
* and last but definitely not least.... ESPRESSO BROWNIES! At first I thought it was coffee when I opened my package because they smelled so good! Silly me.. I was so excited to get her package that I didn't read her letter that came with it. So when I unwrapped this "coffee", I found out they were actually brownies! Mmmm, they were so good! Sadly, I don't have any pics of them because... well, my fiance and I gobbled them all up! So delicious!! Grin

Black & red coffee mug holders so I won't burn my hands while sipping! Also, the cute bookmarks she made! She included a coffee bean "charm" on the end of one of them! So I'll be thinking about coffee while reading any juicy novel.. haha Cheesy

Sorry that it looks like I have an extra stong grip hold on that coffee holder... hmm.. Anyway! Here's the white coffee holder she made! She included a coffee cup from Starbucks to keep its shape! She also suggested a good idea, keeping change in this for my next coffee fix! I love my new bracelet too, it fits perfectly on my wrist!

The yummy yummy lip balm she made!!

My bookmarks! I love the coffee beans on the end of the Starbucks one! Cheesy

She sent me TWO of these blue giant coffee mugs from Starbucks! I love the ghosties on them, and at the bottom of the mug they say, "Boo"! I love mugs that say something at the bottom of them so when you're down to the last drop, you get a cute surprise. Haha Cheesy

And again, I didn't take any pictures of the Espresso Brownies she made.. I wish I did though! They were so gooooooood, so I may have to bother my lady Javastain for the recipe! Kiss Haha! My guy has also been asking me to make some too! I've created a monster from this Coffee Swap!!! Aaahh! Those brownies were just so damn good!

Thank you so much Javastain for all the lovely creations you made! I love them ALL! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! And thank you too Avesthel for organizing this swap! I love everyone's packages!

To everyone that celebrates it, hope you all have a great Thanksgiving tomorrow! And I hope everyone gets a chance to enjoy a nice warm cup of java after eating lots of food Wink
