1  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: What stitches are used to make this bracelet? on: March 26, 2011 08:16:09 PM
It looks like sc.  Since the bracelet is made out of hemp the stitches stay more open because the hemp is a tougher material than yarn.  I know I crocheted some hemp chokers and they ended up looking pretty open like that.

For items of clothing can you sew your pieces together instead of whip stitching?
3  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: Crochet Challenge 10 - Ideas on: February 04, 2010 03:37:52 PM
I like the turning knit to crochet, as well.  I have a tutorial on how to do that but I don't quite understand it unless you mean make your own pattern to something that is knit.  Either way, I may join this time if that is okay?

I love this idea.

I was thinking about doing the same thing since I have a pit bull/newfie mix and he has a big neck so I figured it would be better to have the collar slip through instead of risking the chance of choking him.  Smiley

I love yours, though!
