so i have all the supplies  i need now.  skin, hair, eyeballs...hehehe...

Hooray for the arrival of skin! My 13 yo son was talking about how cool it would be if you had "invisibility power" and you could just make your skin invisible so everyone could see your insides Roll Eyes-it made me think of the poor poppet waiting for it's skin.

I got some more felt colors yesterday, so I can expand on the soft groceries I'm making.

Super cute! I love the idea of using the animal of her birth year.

Can't remember if I checked in this week so here I am, close to finishing, hopefully, (if crafting and life continue smoothly) I'll be able to send next week.

But would one medium and one small not be equivalent to a large? So it seems that technically if it were to go this route, someone could crochet their poppet partner 3 smalls or one medium and one small or one large... Does that make sense?
That makes sense to me- I think the variety opens it up for more creativity/choices, too. I recently did a dragonette that wound up being about 20 inches long http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=345835.msg4045112#msg4045112 that took around 15 hrs including assembling the different parts. But someone might also like a couple of little guys like the Firefly or Star Wars sets I've seen, or maybe a a set of sea creatures, that might take a little less time individually but are totally aweome.

My girls and I made some felt foods today, I'm happy with about 1/2 of what I made, the other half I'm donating to their American Girls pantry ( they never complain about wonky looking food). My 9 yo made a super cute cupcake, I was so proud of her  Grin I also found a really cute game/activity I'm going to try to make for my partner's grand-daughter.

Wow! I missed a lot on my little trip, but it's so exciting to come back home and find partners assigned. I'd sent & received pm's before I even looked at the 1st page. I'm looking forward to making some soft toys for pjherbert's granddaughter, and getting my very own Poppet from rlynn! I haven't started crafting yet but I'm planning.

I received my fabulously frugal and beautiful package from TerraBella01 ! It's been across the country & back thanks to some strange postal hiccup; but it was totally worth the wait. She made some gorgeous fabric napkins that go great with my dishes, I snuck them into the pic so she could see. She made a pretty menu planner and super clever coupon organizer out of recycled cereal boxes. There's also a little recipe book of green cleaners with great solutions for household cleaners. She made two lovely all occasion cards that I'm already planning to use for some upcoming birthdays.  When she resent the package she tucked in a cute puppy  ATC, plus some ATC blanks for me to play with (I can't wait to play with the watercolor paper ones). I've only made a few but had sent her some because I'd seen she collected them, I really enjoyed making them so these blanks are an extra treat!

Thank you again, Megan, I adore everything! Sorry you wound up having to send it twice but I totally appreciate it.
