BUT I received the most GLORIOUS, AMAZING, AND WONDERFUL swap package ever!!!!   BEHOLD:

They are crocheted and pixieval said they are her first crocheted dolls which is just UNBELIEVABLE!!!

They are SO flipping awesome I can't even describe it!  My husband is super-psyched about them too, enough that he suggested we make our very own IT Crowd with a third doll - one we had to put back in his box since we had been using him around the apartment in hilarious (but probably sacrilegious) ways.  Thus I present our own IT Crowd....

There are no words to accurately describe how amazing my swap package was.

It's possible, I imagine, that there *could* be pictures, but I would need an amazing photographer to capture it.

Seriously.

So when I returned home from the movies today, I found a HUGE box waiting for me on my doorstep.  Which is remarkable unto itself since usually they leave the boxes in the office (which is closed on Saturdays and therefore packages pretty much can't be delivered by USPS on Saturdays).  But somehow they KNEW that I needed my package now!

The box was, naturally, sent from Bon Temps:



I knew I was in for an insane amount of spoilage when I saw this...


(in case you cant read that - my 'macro' setting has worked for crap today! - that says $31.70 for shipping!)

Everything was wrapped SO beautifully...




In fact, this is the box FULL of just the tissue paper and all accompanying packing goodness:



And there were notes with everything; messages from my swap partner as well as the Rattrays, Tara, Sookie, Claudine, and of course Eric



And then there were extras....


(matchbook notepads with my initial, a pretty notepad, an adorable little black coin purse which was filled with a comfort kit for my fibromyalgia - Burt's Bees chapstick, moist towlettes, altoids, initial pocket kleenex, and an adorable travel pill case (which will get SO much use!))

...and another extra - notecards with 3D 'J's' (for JoAnn, me!) with little purple ribbons (for fibromyalgia awareness!)



Also, a wisty surprise!  Interchangeable sterling silver pearl earrings with a matching necklace!!!  And a little set of purple beaded ones! 



NOW, after ALL THAT, we get to the True Blood part of the package! (I know, right?!  )

A present from Eric!  (It had a tag attached, so I know it wasn't taken from him forcefully, plus gift wrapped in this adorable box!)  There was also a black garter; it was with a different gift (from Tara's Togs, of course), but definitely was a gift for me, FOR Eric   



There was another extra (the cell charm) along with my favorite new bookmark!!!



From the Rattrays, I received a sample of V along with papers for the drops and with instructions!



I got THE most amazing charm bracelet ever!  It weighs like 1400 pounds (but is surprisingly comfortable to wear, I'm pleased to report) because it is SO loaded!  Tons of red, black, and silver.  There are related charms (like a coffin) and it includes a bottle of V.  But clearly this bottle is specifically for me to recover from my fibro cause there are also word charms like 'strength,' 'courage,' and 'cure,' along with a ribbon charm!

A magical wishing wand all the way from Faery!!!  It had suggestions for questions and the inside (if you properly follow the directions which were so perfectly worded) would answer your question in the Globe of the Future!!

Okay, I know, that was super corny.  BUT clearly you can see I was also right.

It was unbelievable and I am totally going to have to send Arielthemermaid something else to say thanks!

Oh My Sweetness.

After the looooooongest day of my life at work, I came home to the most awesome box ever from Casey1201:



Okay, the outside was pretty normal-boxy.  But I knew the inside would hold such delights!  I could not WAIT to get into it!  In fact, my excitement sparked the interest of my kitten, John Rawls. 

Particularly when I fell in LOVE instantly with my new weekender!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  (Please understand, as Casey1201 did, I have been wanting one of these FOREVER!!!!)



John Rawls decided, however, that HE was in love with my new weekender:



The *only* shot of me you'll get is with one of the pairs of earrings she made me - look how well they go with my brand new nose ring!  (please excuse how my nose is all read around it - I mean, I got it pierced 2 nights ago, so Im cleaning it constantly, so then it gets all reddish)



Okay, so here is the loot (other than the weekender bag and the earrings you've already seen!):

A loaded charm bracelet (Ive always wanted one!) to go with the earrings you've already seen and another pair -

If you can believe it, Casey classified the bracelet and both pairs of earrings as a SMALL!  Silly Casey!  Much like how my weekender bag was a Large (whereas I am confident that the time she put in on it could have counted as the small, medium, AND large!)

Then we have our Medium.  I say Medium because Casey said so.  Casey needs to do some SERIOUS work on her comprehension of sizes for swaps.  I however have benefitted, so far be for me to complain!       A sewing kit:



But thats not all!  In addition to the supercute kit, it came FULLY loaded!!

Two patterns for purses (yay!!) and a Sewing for Dummies book (PERFECT FOR ME!!!)



Awesome, awesome fabric!




A whole host of sewing necessities - awesome scissors, Fray Check, rick rack, elastic, Heat and Bond, 3 zippers, and straight pins (which were in the pic above)  There were also safety pins and a measuring tape, but my husband was using those to distract the cat.



By the time I got around to opening the jar of buttons, I had his attention again...

That's right, that's a pineapple!  There were several cat ones she included - every SINGLE detail or every single thing Casey did for me was thought out!!!

So even though my small medium and large were more like a large, XXL, and 5X, Casey STILL included some extras!

She also sent tea for my hubby and Reese's!!  Yay!!!  He has already started plowing into both (trust me, its a minor miracle I got a picture of the bookmark when I did, since he's stolen it already!)


I CANNOT explain that I DID just know she was my stalker, even though I sort of just picked her arbitrarily.  But I just KNEW.  and she knew that I knew!   


Seriously, Casey was UNBELIEVABLE!!!!  this was AWESOME!!!  the fact that it came after the day i had was just that much better!!!

Okay, so this morning, on Day 3 of my complete exclusion from society due to H1N1, my husband tells me that he forgot to get the mail yesterday.  He brings it in and TADA!!!  its like Christmas morning!!

So I received from Twisted Truth and she definitely delivered!!  I was a little unsure what to expect because I know I didn't give much direction, but the woman clearly did her homework and I am so excited about it!!!

First, we have some bath and body stuff - Japanese Cherry Blossom Lotion (such an awesome scent), a Rose Lotion Bar (Im excited to try this out - Ive never used a lotion bar!), Chocolate Drop Soap (oh yes, I was made for chocolate soap), and a pedicure set




Now we have some fun stuff - a purple drawstring comfort bag, a corner paper bookmark, and a pack of 'Hunks' playing cards!!  (we are big card and game players in my family, so this is extra perfect!)



More goodness - a bookmark with a quote from Eleanor Roosevelt about dreams and a 'Fuck This Shit' magnet.  I ADORE this magnet and let me tell you how perfect this bookmark is - first, the obvious - its a bookmark and i read all the freaking time.  LOVE to read.  Secondly, as Im sure TwistedTruth tracked down, I LOVE eleanor roosevelt, in fact, named my cat after her.  and lastly the quote itself is so appropriate - "Believe in the beauty of your dreams" which is perfect since it really speaks to the depression Ive been struggling with lately

Yes, they are INFINITELY wist-worthy!!!  I was BLOWN away by my package from donniesgirl, my very own personal angel!!!  I have a few additional pics....

I hate full pics of me, but I have included them here to give you all an idea of just how cumbersome making clothes for me (especially that amazing patchwork one!) cause I am a BIG girl.

Please ignore my face - I thought the husband was only shotting from the chest down, so I wasnt looking as happy as the clothes make me!

Alright!  I havent done this swap in over two years, but its just right for now and I still have and love and use my stuff I got then!  Im painting 14 shirts with animated characters for our family trip to Disney later this month and need some easy crafting I can do when I get tired of painting!!   

So, that said, Im offering what I offered 2 years ago - button bouquets!  Like so...
