21  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Fitted Crocheted Jacket/top? Why Not!! on: October 08, 2007 12:42:06 PM
I love the result of this top. Yes, it took a long time to make (almost 3 months) but the result is worth it. It took a long time because I had to frog so many times. I think I could make almost 3 Dahlia (that is what I name this top) if I didnt have to frog.

I also love the transition between the sleeve and the body. I chose the solid motif for the body but when reach the sleeves it become lacy and transparent. All worked in the same round and no seaming!!!!

WOW! All your works are amazing. I am jealous that you have all those models to pose your works Smiley If I made something like that, there is no way I can model it. My DH will kill me !!!!
Don't quit posting pls. Your works are really inspiring.
23  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / A Thong on: September 28, 2007 08:09:31 PM
Did I ever tell you that I love to crochet using fine thread and small needle? Sometimes I just had the urge to make project using small hook. This is one of the results. I love the result and its pretty comfy too.

Pattern: My Own

Materials: DMC Tradition size 10. Color: Natural. Qty: ball.
Hook: Tulip Crochet Hook 1.8 mm

I just had the opportunity to take the photo recently. Its kind of difficult to take this photo. For the lighting issue, I took this photo in the garden outside. I constantly looked around because afraid that the neighbors saw me doing it. Hehehehehe. Its kind of difficult to explain why I needed to take photo of a thong. Hahahahahaha!
