1  The first thing my sister has ever made...and I helped! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by anti-emily on: November 19, 2009 03:18:53 PM

she cut the patches from random tshirts over the years. we had to add extra fabric to make up for parts which were patchless.

overall, i think it turned out fabulous!

2  Skully Ashtray in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by anti-emily on: October 07, 2009 07:24:24 PM
My sister and i made this ashtray. we bought the the ashtray from walmart, then mod podged the skulls. we cut the skulls out of the most recent halloween issue of martha stewart.

then the black and red is acrylic paint and black spray paint. i got the idea from a craft book i read at the book store, but i forget the name. if anyone knows, lemme know. i used one of those holey laundry bags and stretched it across the back and sponged the red acrylic on, since we didnt' have red spray paint. then i took the bag off and sprayed the black spray paint over it all.

i think it looks good. my girlfriend, when she saw it, thought we bought it that way. so yay!

3  Dark chocolate ganache birthday cake!!! in Dessert by anti-emily on: October 07, 2009 07:06:39 PM
This is the birthday cake i just made for my girlfriend!

it'a just a marble cake from the box plus waaay too much dark chocolate ganache covering it.

i was going to do just a drizle of white chocolate ganache...but decided it would probably be too much. so i just added the white chocolate chips as decor.

it was my first time to make ganache. i made too much. like, alot to much. haha

4  Ivory Rebatch in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by anti-emily on: May 14, 2009 11:27:04 AM
So, this is my final-ish product.

I used two bars of Ivory soap and, in the begining did them both seperately. I did the whole rebatching thing, added my bentonite clay, crushed up aspirin and tea tree oil. but they both came out look super super rough and icky. i didn't think i did it correct.

So then I used some new rebatching info I was given (thank you smittenheart!) and grated both bars again together and boiled some dried mint. I poured about 1/4 cup of the strong mint tea into the shreds and then placed over a double boiler.

The mixture got ALOT smoother and everthing was much better incorporated. At first they were a pretty od green color, with flecks of mint. I really liked it. Now that it's drying, it's turning brown. I think it's because of the mint tea.

This is all my bars. I actually have my soap drying on top of my clothes dryer! Two reasons 1. my cat, Rat, decided is smelled tasty and chewed on it a bit. I don't know why!!!??? It was disturbing.  2. I thought the gentle heat of the dryer my help the drying process a bit. And it is.

In this one you can see how it's changing color.

Yay! Cant wait to use it!

5  WARNING!!! ADULT LESBO CONTENT! in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by anti-emily on: January 15, 2009 08:59:37 PM
Ok, so my girlfriend had this oooold, worn out harness that has become too small for her. If anyone here is in the position to need/want one of these wonderful things, then you know a new one cost big bucks! So I thought I would try my hand at making one!

Here are a few pics of the process and final result. I am super duper proud of myself but i'm planning to make one for a friend of mine, so any suggestions would be super cool!

this is the original harness that i traces to get the basic shape

this is the paper pattern i traced from the original harness. pretty simple.

i used a thick beige twill kind of fabric for the inside. it is the fabric that bears all the pressure. the dark grey is suede and the outiside, so it will be all soft and pretty.

this is the entire thing all put together. i know the carpet is ugly and the lighting is ugly and colors are kinda off, but it's really super pretty in person! i promise! hehe

this is a close up of the D-rings that the butt straps attach to. i'm especially impressed with myself on this. it looks all professional and poop.

and this is the final final product with the O-ring attached!

i spared you the pic with the dildo in it, but suffice to say, i think it's gonna work out well!

yay! thanks for looking!

6  my boyfriend the cow in Halloween Costumes by anti-emily on: November 18, 2007 05:19:20 PM
these are some pictures of the pants and hoodie additions i did for my boyfriend for halloween. it's kinda hard to see, but the pants have a tail. and they're made of fuzzy fleecy stuff, so they kinda look like cow fur and are really warm.

i was going to make a hoodie out of the fabric too, but i'm poor and he wouldn't have worn it anyways. so i just added horns and ears to his already brown hoodie.

his septum piercing is what inspired the whole thing.

i unfortunately didn't get any pictures of my costume. i was a flapper with a "mink" stole....I though i was cute. hehe
