So happy ceemonster likes everything! It took me so long to get the package out to her, I hope it was worth the wait. Here's a couple of action shots of the bag and slippers that I took before I shipped.

Here's my package from ceemonster! She did an amazing job.
First up, a lovely cephalopod steampunk book box for my library.

Ooh, look at all the goodies in here.

A matching canvas for my library wall.

Now on to the sparkly things! Here's what was in the book box.

A charm bracelet, a bookmark, a tentacle necklace, an airship line lapel pin, and a bicycle necklace. All so amazing! The tentacle necklace is my favorite, here's a closeup so you can see the detail.

Finally, a mini top hat modeled by yours truly. I want one of these to match every outfit.

Thank you so much ceemonster, you rock!

I got a package from Seraphina! She's been having some family problems and was MIA for a little while, but she finally got it sent. Let's send good thoughts her way. Thank you Seraphina, everything is wonderful.

A book mark, a magnet, two glass links with vintage pictures inside, and bracelet. I love how jangly the bracelet and the color of the beads, and the links are going to find their way into another piece of steamy jewelry soon.

An awesome picture frame. Have to find the perfect sepia toned prints to put in it.

And a gorgeous air pirate doll. She's poised on bended knee with her spyglass ready to keep watch. Awesome!

Ceemonster was nearly done with her angel package, so she'll still be sending that as well. So stay tuned for another post coming soon!

Everyone has made such amazing things, great job everybody!

Here's the stuff I made for preg_replace('/(.{19})/', '$1 ', 'Seraphina_de_Sangre.') She's MIA at the moment, unfortunately, but I hope she got and likes what I made her.

A mismatched pair of lace-up opera gloves with skeleton key duplicate stitch embellishment.

A messenger bag, canvas with faux leather strap, embellished with stenciled lace design and vintage lithograph transfers.

A pearl and pearl button necklace with watch parts.

A shrink plastic keychain.

I also sent her a Boston postcard and a couple of T token buttons that I didn't take pictures of.

5  Re: Multi-Themed Steampunk Swap! Closed! Sendouts August 16th in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by loopylamb on: July 25, 2010 03:05:54 PM
I'm back from my hiatus! My new floors came out great. The first floor is open plan, but the old floors were half tile and half carpet with a metal divider strip down the middle. Plus the tiles were broken and the carpet was dirty. Now we have solid strand bamboo throughout.
Before:

After:

I haven't got much crafting done because of the construction, but I am almost done with my medium and I went out last night (finally) to get supplies for my large.

Loopy of the Coopered Lushingtons claims this spot!

1. ceemonster - received 6/19
2. emopenguintoast - received 6/21
3. habitat-lady - received 6/21
4. sweetyetevil -received 6/12
5. hgddm - received 6/7
6. Lique - received 6/21

Received from hgddm today. Love the colors! I asked for a world traveler theme for my charms, so she made it look like the earth. Unfortunately, the bubble wrap stuck to the resin. Habitat-lady mentioned she thought she could fix hers with another thin coat of resin, I think I'll try that, too.

Received from sweetyetevil yesterday. Love the charm, its awesome. Love how it looks like its held together by the nails.

Received from ceemonster. Two views of the same charm. Love how she fit my world traveler theme, and the patina on the wings is beautiful.

Received my last three packages yesterday. My mail box was chock full of wonderfulness. This charm is from lique. Lots of lovely little bobbles in resin. I especially like the key.

This one is from emopenguintoast. The base is a piece of clock mechanism with gears attached to it. The dangly bit is lovely and whimsical.

The final charm is from habitat-lady. Love her creativeness here, using the copper cage bead and watch parts to make this world traveler a little flying machine.

I've received from all my partners, and they have all received from me. What a great swap, thanks again to all my partners. I had a great time and got some really unique and beautiful things.

7  Steampunk Airship Pirate Flag in Exterior Decorating / Yard Art / Gardening: Completed Projects by loopylamb on: April 25, 2010 06:48:51 PM
Here is a flag that hubby and I designed and I made to fly outside our house. We're great admirers of steampunk aesthetic, so we tried to imagine what kind of Jolly Roger airship pirates might fly. Here's what we came up with:

Hope you enjoy. Comments and critiques welcomed.

My package from seaofstars arrived today. Behold pics of my glorious new kitchen stuff!

Here's a group shot of most of my loot. A set of coasters with a caddy, two dishtowels, a set of magnets, and a tea holder. There's tea in there, too *puts water on to boil*

Close up of the magnets. They're magazine clippings of food! So cool. That creamy looking thing with the strawberries on top looks so yummy.

Close up of the tea holder.

And my new apron. It's just my style and I heart it much. (Sorry for the bad shot, it's a self portrait with the timer.)
Thank you so much seaofstars!

I received from Coral today! (The package I sent her is still MIA, unfortunately, but she's talking with the post office about it).
On to the pics-

A beautiful and cozy neckwarmer. I'm still wearing it, as it is quite chilly in my apartment. (No, I do not look happy, but I assure you I am.)

Recycled sari yarn. I love the riot of colors.

A papermaking kit (I've always wanted to try out papermaking), wine glass charms, and a Oregon Coast pen.

And the piece de resistance, a felted eyeball bowl! Very cool indeed.
Thank you so much, Coral!
