1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: a couple repeat FOs, tam and panta on: April 29, 2008 11:01:37 AM
love that panta...i tried knitting a panta once but my increase stitches were so obvious! they either created a little hole or a bar. what type of increase did you use to make them so smooth?

i didnt really do anything special, just a knit 2 together. i think it might be the yarn/needle size that helped out. what increase did you use?

There are two version of the panta pattern on craftster - one here and another here.

I think I need to find someone in need of a tam and befriend them...

aw thanks for the comments everyone.  and yes i'm happy to have a tam worthy head near by, i look like placed a frumpy muffin on my head when i wear it.

here is a picture in action

9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Another garment made of handwoven on: April 13, 2008 03:03:45 AM
you are blowing my mind.

i swear just last week i looked at your older post of the hand weaved fabric and now i see this. its honestly beautiful. i've found my inspiration for today! i did a bit of weaving that turned a shawl into a 8 foot long  table runner.
thanks so much for sharing this!

as for the beads i have a lot of copper wire and i plan to do some jewelry with the smaller sized ones [the turquoise color ones esp] and i have an idea to make some type of bowl or vase but i have to test a few ways to put it together. i'll definitely post pictures of fo either on my blog or here ... at some point.   Roll Eyes
