1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Gathered v-neck sweater on: April 30, 2008 12:07:02 PM
My first sweater that I'm actually really happy with, and not trying to convince myself to like. The pattern is from Interweave Knits (Winter '07), and took me about 2 months to complete.

The yarn is so soft - Berroco Ultra Alpaca. Gotta love an alpaca! It won't get much wear until next fall, though, with the weather becoming warmer now that it's finally done...

thanks for looking Smiley
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / one more twinkle shopping tunic on: May 31, 2007 07:06:57 PM
I've had it done for about a week, but didn't have time to photograph it until this evening and I'm itching to show it!

Even though I was iffy about the finished sweater when I first completed it, I love how it looks now. I used Cascade Magnum in Lichen and I think it is a great yarn to sub for the Twinkle Bulky yarn.

3  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Melamine projects? on: December 05, 2006 12:08:10 PM
Hi - does anyone know of a source for having melamine plates made? I've seen some places online that can do one or two, say for children's projects or something like that, but I'm interested in doing, say, 50100... I'm having a hard time googling for the right thing...

thanks!
