| Brief Bio, News in Your Life, etc: | I live in the desert with my terrific husband. I am an engineer and work full time in the dreaded defense industry. I have two grown kids and two fabulous grandsons - a 13-year old who loves to read, read read and 6-year old future engineer.
I have a pink kitchen and a weird sense of humor. I like retro stuff, 50s pink, rocket ships, sublime stitching patterns, Day of the Dead, tiki stuff, retro cowboy, vintage ephemera, vintage holiday decorations, altered art and paper, resin stuff and repurposed/recycled stuff. No girly girl stuff - except for my pink 50s style kitchen. |

Tough female detectives with a sense of humor (Kinsey Millhone, Eve Dallas, V.I. Quirky stuff, things that make me laugh, reading mysteries and craft mags, purses made out of odd stuff, retro graphics, fun cotton fabrics, tikis, Scrabble, Craftster, fish images, cute chicken images, Hawaiiana, Craftsman style, free time, sleep
Dislikes, Pet Peeves, Allergies, etc:
Metal allergy - primarily with earrings - the part that goes through the ear. I love jewelry - posts/earwires just need to be hypoallergnic, stainless, or sterling. Hate that smell that lingers on stuff when it's been around smokers, don't like cutesy-girly things (without the irony ;-)
