that looks so awesome! you should definitely leave the front as is like everyone else says. if you had a crazy front of the shirt, it would only distract from the amazingness that is the back

polka dots are definitely a favorite pattern, they're always so cheery looking

and thanks, my hair's kind of silly. some days it behaves well, other days not so much

7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: skirts from vintage fabric... and a bathrobe! on: November 24, 2006 11:36:53 PM
cute! they make me wish it was spring time again. only make sure you hem the bottoms or the fabric will come all unraveled over time

it is indeed a real pocket and i think it probably would have been best maybe a tiny bit lower but i'd never made anything with a big pocket in the front before. it has proven to be handy for my cell phone or ipod

black definitely looks lovely on everyone

so i haven't posted anything here since the summer, it seems like once school's in, i die when it comes to sewing anything, my apologies

but here is a new shirt to share, i look haggard but i've had a looong day

expect me back in a big way over winter break, i'm about to clean out my closet!!!

thanks for looking

and about the tutorials some of you asked for in previous postings, i will try to make some, but i stink at them and most of these were chances of luck, trial and error
