I think I found my summer bag (well with a few tweaks to it).
Here's one I did last night. It has pockets around the whole exterior. I love the style but overall it's very *VB* to me.  plus I need longer handles on mine. Now I need to find some fabric for ME!

I've been doing a lot of sewing but not so much picture taking
although the warmer it gets the less action my sewing machine is seeing these days but here are a few of my latest.

There are little dk gray studs on the diamond shape but they didn't photograph well. I think it needs another wash before I sell it.

Palm Trees- This bag is quite large- I wasn't happy after I made it- it needed a little *umph* so I added some gold studs here and there.

You all have inspired me so here are a few of my *firsts*-
excuse the not great pictures- I took them really late at night (& very tired!) *sorry about the links

The brown paisley/olive green was my first (the combo looks like camo to me  


My first with a zipper & piping- messed up the bottom so the final version had a bunch of buttons on the bottom.


These next two taught me about what type of interfacing I shouldn't use with certain fabrics (the blue is also an experiment in flaps)



I originally bought this black fabric as a lining but fell in love with it- the red is hand dyed felted wool I get locally.
