mhills: do you use any interfacing within it? if you do, you should cut it smaller than the fabrics so when you topstitching it, would be much much easier. i found out that when you use light/medium cotton with double interfacing (interfacing on both side) it comes out nicely. if you use cotton canvas on the other hand.. making it much harder..

I supposed to doing my final year project but i got so stress out, i sewing instead. hahaha one way to channel the stress right? i managed to make 2 wallet for ladies and one for my man, Chello ngeee.. the wallet for chello is not really handmade.. more to re-vamp.. haha his wallet already worn out.. then i found some hush puppies wallet.. so i just use mod podge and glue the "cool-electronic circuit board fabric" onto it. i hope he like it. another 2 wallets are for my friends.. oh! i also make file organizer for my friend. ngeee so she can put all her college stuff into it.

I have this trip with friends to north of malaysia on last weekend. so i figure i should make myself a weekender bag so i can put all my stuff and style it together hee so i make a draft pattern using my electronic circuit novelty fabric which i looooove so much! and pipe it with black pipping and lined with black polka dots voile fabric. make a zipper pocket inside. my friends are all "ooh" and "aah" with it and i just love it:) plus i make a make up together lined with vinyl, both side and also a eye mask. so i can sleep while in train ngee. so happy

i just do try and error in making myself this laptop sleeve. at first i combine 2 identical size fabric at each but turns out my laptop can't fit in it. so i try attach another fabric around it so it has more depth. finally, it fit perfectly! hee lined with flannel and quilt batting for protection:)
