Such a difference - the after is very tranquil compared to the brightness from before. Feels like a place you can really relax at the end of the day.

The bar is a really nice touch. I'm totally curious about the railings though - any idea if they serve(d) a purpose at all, or just decorative?

So nice! I always think about putting things on the walls since I'm never supposed to paint in my apartments, but then I get lazy and end up leaving it all blank....

Hopefully seeing all these great ideas will kick my butt into gear!

Right away I thought of this as a challenge of sorts for the Craftster folk - to see who can come up with the easiest/sturdiest/most general consumer-friendly bag. Then the ones produced get thrown into circulation, "guerilla-style" and maybe it would stick...

I live in Boston but am from Central Mass. C.C. Lowell is an art store at 258 Park Ave.

I vaguely remember it being a little more expensive, but it seems closer and could even out in terms of travel costs.

I check BoingBoing at least once a day, and saw this post (http://www.boingboing.net/2006/10/19/great_bookmod_encycl.html) which led me to this website (http://craftzine.com/), and consequently their "community" page that referenced Craftster!

Once here, I could tell it was the most comprehensive creative site I'd seen, so I signed right up!

This is my first post here. I moved to Maine about two months ago from Boston and am still commuting there for work. I'm a graphic designer by trade and am into a little bit of everything else; painting, collage, metal fabrication, serigraphy, crochet, building little boxes and containers...

It'd be great to meet creative people in the area! I live in Berwick, right next to Somersworth, NH.
