1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / How about a quicky? on: July 15, 2009 06:40:37 PM
Anyone else interested in a weekend swap?  I could really use an excuse to get away from all the summer kid fun! I'm up for almost any theme just to concentrate for a little while on something other than sunscreen and summer reading!  Maybe, "One thing for Mommy" or "Back to School" (giggles), really I'm up for suggestions.

I just looked at the new Amy Butler line on Fabric.com.  OMG it is so nice.  Can't wait to make some bags!
3  UNITED STATES / New Jersey / Rock and Roll Revival on: January 11, 2008 08:29:15 AM
Hello everyone! It's me little miss gloucester city again.  Gloucester City is hosting a Rock and Roll weekend
June 20th and 21st.  Friday night will be a battle of local bands down on the waterfront.  Saturday will be a music festival along Broadway.  Jack's Twin Bar in Gloucester City is one of the first places Bill Haley and The Comets played.  The line up is still being set up but the remaining orignal comet still tours with a band as the Comets.  They will be performing as well as Full Blown Cherry.  This will be a great event for rockabilly and other musical craftsters.  More information will become available at www.cityofgloucester.org
For those who don't know Gloucester City is at the foot of the Walt Whitman bridge connecting Philadelphia to New Jersey.
4  UNITED STATES / New Jersey / Gloucester City Christmas on: November 02, 2007 02:35:51 PM
Gloucester City will be hosting a Christmas event on December 1 from 6pm to 9pm.  Indoor craft spaces are $30.  More information is available at http://www.cityofgloucester.org/events.php
Was a nice event last year and all the events seem to be growing.
5  UNITED STATES / New Jersey / YO "Philly" South Jersey Crafters on: October 05, 2007 06:17:44 PM
Where have all the South Jersey craftsters been?  Anyone doing craft fairs this season?  Or would anyone like to get together to do one?
Collingswood is like festival capitol of the world now.  I'm sure they will be having something soon.  I'm from Gloucester City and I know we're going to have a Christmas event December 1st.  There is always something going on in Philly.  So philly area Jersey girls let's get together.
6  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Not bad for a day's work! on: September 14, 2007 09:25:30 PM
I am going to a shamrock festival tomorrow and decided to make some bags to go along with the theme.  I cut the fabric in the morning and sewed after dinner. Now it's time for bed.  This is  my first post.  I hope you like shamrocks!
