11  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: Questions About Hairstyles! on: May 06, 2008 09:00:53 AM
Yeah, when we switched to the Navy Blue tops and Khaki pants they told us that we couldn't have "crazy" hair colors one guy had to dye his hair, it was half black and half blonde...two natural colors, I would have so fought it because we have preppy girls with huge chunky highlights and dark brown hair.

I've seen that guy with the mohawk before and it is truly awesome, in every single way, lol.

Is the first pic Eric Szmanda from CSI? Hmm, now that is actually a good idea for inspiration, I'm going to have to google some pics or get screen caps from CSI. Thanks!

Embarrassed That depends, I'm not really emo or punk indie best describes how I dress/look. Most of the hair I liked on the older thread (the huge thread) was kinda punky hair though, though it was on girls and usually colors I can't wear at work. However all their hair was really unique but was still described as punky or gothic, whatevs. Anyways, I really loved Christians hair from Project Runway but it was a bit to....Fierce for me, so if anyone can find a pic of a toned down haircut like Christian that would be Sweeeet!

So I've been needing a hair cut for a while now, I have wavy hair but I usually flat iron it in the morning before work, I'm looking for a style that is kinda idk emo/punk/indie something cool and quazi unique, I work at Wal-Mart and we can't have unnatural colors so I'll probably not be dying it unless I get a really good suggestion I'm just not sure what to do about it. I like the long part in the front, but its looking kinda lame right now.

btw this is it just combed no product or straightening.

Someone please come up with something awesome for it.
14  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / Re: Whats wrong with my sewing machine!!!? on: May 05, 2008 07:27:07 PM
We have the same Sewing Machine, from the reviews I read they can be totally bitchy, but mine has been very nice, I've learned most of the freaky shit it does now, so I am happy with it now, if you have any more problems send me a PM I might be able to help.

Oh that jacket is beautiful, as are you. I've never worked wit leather before, I've always heard it was a real pain to work with, but you really pulled it off and it turned out great.

17  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Macro Challenge-Dandelion Clock on: April 26, 2008 06:46:35 PM
Well I was kind of laying on the ground with my butt sticking up in the air, hoping a neighbor wouldnt walk by and see my crack, lol, while also hoping I wasn't laying in dog poop, I'm so glad my fish poop in their tank. I'm happy with how the shot turned out, I walked around my yard trying to find something to photograph when it caught my eye, but then I walked around to find something else, but nothing else turned out right so I went back and the little flower puff was still there, lol.

20  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Macro Challenge-Dandelion Clock on: April 24, 2008 10:53:54 PM
First time I've ever done a macro shot and this is the only one that didn't turn out very blurry. I used a Kodak Z710 and I cropped the picture, I was very pleased at how the shot turned out.
