1  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Re: Team Edward Shirts (and an Alice necklace) on: August 04, 2008 06:11:45 AM

By 'freezer paper method' do you mean putting it through the printer with wax paper behind it? I keep trying to find out about this method, but I can't seem to find what I'm looking for by means of explanation.

Thishttp://kittybuttons.com/wordpress/?page_id=9 is the best stenciling website out there!  They have stencils, tutorials - in plain English, easy to follow.  These people want you to succeed at stenciling!  I love it!

To find the freezerpaper method click on the words 'Paper Options'.  I hope this helps!  I know I've used this method and it came out PERFECTLY.  And BTW...if you can swing it, the screenprinting ink lasts FOREVER!
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: 2 Shirts for Moms Birthday ! on: July 20, 2008 06:26:01 AM
Eeh, gads!  Once again, you've made something to nudge me along in my thought process!  Thank goodness!  Been trying to work out sleeves on a recon and now I know what to do thanks to this and the tut posted on the skulls/thermal shirt.  You ROCK!

I once wondered how I was going to survive without art school critiques (especially the W.I.P. ones) and then I found Craftster.  If you can't find what you need - ask and you'll have all the help you could want!  AWESOME!!!  Grin

I love it.  It is so OZ.  I love Oz...I want to go there now!  Must.  Have.  Fabric.  It immediately reminded me of the hoodie by Heatherette I can't afford, but maybe with this fabric I could make it my own!

You did exactly as you intended because when I saw the thumbnail, I said - "Jack Pants!"

Jeepers!  These are great!

I totally love it!  So funny 'cause I'm actually working on doing a Paris one based on the movie Paris JE T'AiME.  LOL

I haven't done the skyline on the bag because the interfacings are going to be 50% off at Jo-Ann on Monday, so I am waiting!  I am using cotton and a new interfacing I've been wanting to try, but I like the felt that you used!  Great job!
