I haven't done the skyline on the bag because the interfacings are going to be 50% off at Jo-Ann on Monday, so I am waiting!  I am using cotton and a new interfacing I've been wanting to try, but I like the felt that you used!  Great job!

So....I wanted to share my latest creation with you!  I actually made it last Tuesday afternoon/evening and have been using it all week, but I just got a new camera and have been too busy knitting and making costumes for Halloween and going to the Covered Bridge Festival to install the new software, but I got it done today!

Anyhoo.....TMI..... here is the bag:

So...that's it!  I used a pattern (McCall's M4936) as a starting point, but I added material to the top and bottom, changed the handles and lined my way, so really it was just an inspiration.  I don't do patterns too well!  LOL

[FUN]

The first thing I thought of was LimeCrime (http://www.limecrime.net/) make-up tutorials!  The makeup is so amazing and you could do a million different things with that dress depending on the make-up!  I want it!!!  Check out some of what she does:

I too am a HUGE fan of L.A.M.B. clothes!  Vogue has a few really nice patterns that could work nicely for this dress.  I am a big fan of #V8353.  It's not exact, but has the best shape and you could leave the collar off and add a cumberbund and ruffles and BAM!  You've got your dress!



Also V2401, is a really great Vintage Vogue pattern.



 Vintage Vogue is my favorite!  I really just love Vogue patterns in general.  They not only are very stylish and on-top of the trend, but they are good quality patterns and very concise.  The also are often made by my favorite designers - right off the runway!

I made this bag up when snowed in this week.  It only took me like 30 minutes to create and looks really cute.  Sorry for the poor pictures - I was too lazy to dig out my car to get the camera I left in it so I scanned the handbag!  LOL  I'll post more when I break the camera free!

Okay here is my version of the shirt.  I was inspired by this thread, but I do sew so I made the tube first with elastic running all the way around.  That way I can wear it over or under the boobs depending on how long I want the shirt to look that day.  I also made a matching shrug cause it's so darn cold here right now!

Sorry for the crappy-a$$ pictures.  I look like dootie.  But I do like the shirt and it's so comfy!

*Called a Toile *

Uummm...actually toile is a print of fabric and muslin is a type of fabric, like jersey or wool.  And this is a classic example of toile:    Toile comes in different colors, but usually in the Rocco type-pallet and always looks very similar to these spaced out very decorative senic designs.

Isn't he the most lovely sea turtle?  I love his attiude and his sleepy little eyes - must me tiring work all that surfung the EFC. eh?!?!  LOL.  Those turtles make that movie!

Okay so today my cousin informed me that this was the day I was gonna go blonde.  Now, I've been discussing it for some time so we just did it.  What an adventure!!! We bleached it, colored it (it didn't work) called our good friend who is a hairdresser and re-colored it and in the end it is kinda interesting.  I dunno...what do you think???

The closeup is truer to the actual color (I think).  We started at 3:30 and didn't finish until 9:30.  We didn't think it would take so long (freak out when the hair looked like fire!) and I missed a date I was supposed to go on tonight!  Oops!!!

I really love the football handles and I think this bag is the BESTEST!!!  Indy is BLUE crazy (all the time but especially now!) and everywhere I went people commented on the bag!
