1  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / I, too, went as Bjork for halloween! on: October 31, 2006 11:14:40 PM
Hey everyone. Here is another swan dress.
I won second place in the costume contest at my school! Yay.

I love floofy skirts.

Took some time, but it's totally one of those costumes I would re-use.  Smiley

3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Mod Dress, 2 PJ pants, and a Scarf. Whew. on: July 19, 2006 10:17:06 PM
Well I haven't posted anything I've made in ages, so I thought I'd share a little.

A houndstooth "mod" dress.

I got this fabric from an Ikea sheet/pillowcase that was in the "as is" section for 2$. Still haven't figured out what was wrong with it to make it "as is" but it made the hassle of going to Ikea worth it.

These were the first PJ pants I made with this cute fabric of space age radios. Love it.

Close up.

A sewn scarf I made... ya know... just in time for summer.  Roll Eyes
4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Shirts and Skirts! on: January 01, 2006 10:07:22 PM
My sweet boyfriend bought me a fancy new sewing machine for Christmas! Heres what I've done so far:

Pajama shirt:

I wasn't planning on making a shirt, but I couldn't resist such a cute fabric:

And a skirt!

I had no idea zippers were so hard.

XL Black Sabbath shirt (I know this shirt should go in reconstructed, but I figured I would just put it with my post here instead.

Hey everyone. I usually buy my fabric from thriftstores because of how convienent and cheap it is. Here are three skirts from sheets and a pillowcase.
