Absolutely love these!  I really like the red polka dot pair.  Nice work.
12  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Knotted bracelets = awesome! on: September 07, 2011 08:22:50 PM
Over the weekend I learned to use my Knotty-Do-It-All board that I won from a Bend Trends blog post.  It's a really great tool and makes creating knotted jewelry a snap.  Here are the bracelets I've made so far. The other new thing for me is that I've started to try and name my pieces.  Hope you like them.

Fire - really like the way this one turned out but I'm a huge fan of red and black

Ice - I had clear glass chips that worked perfect for this one since they look like ice chips

Earth - this is the very first one I made

Kaleidoscope - this one really looks much better in person.  The picture doesn't show all the color and shimmer in the beads

Silverado - simple leather cord and nice silver beads

Gorgeous necklace.  Very nice work.  I bet it will look great with her wedding dress.

Love these!  All the color combos are great.  Is there instructions on how to do these somewhere?  Would love to learn how to make these.

Just over the weekend I discovered chainmaille and love the possibilities.  My first project is similar to your earrings but as a bracelet.  Very easy but I'm not a fan of the aluminum rings that I used.  They aren't very nice ones and don't join well.  There are gaps because of the way they were cut.  Will definitely be getting better rings and doing some more weaves.  I also love rainbows so really, really like your pieces.  Here's my first try at chainmaille.

Love these!!  Great idea with the use of the chain and keeping the beads minimal.

Very nice.  Your white one is exactly like the one I made for myself except I used black thread.  Smiley

Great earrings.  I'm partial to the second pair. I can see why you would wear them all the time.  They would go with everything.

Thanks for sharing the tutorial.  My daughter wants one of these and now I know how to make them!

I feel the same way about beading even when I'm struggling with what I'm making it's still a stress reliever from work.  Plus I can be creative and have something in the end that I can say I made with my own two hands.  I really, really like the long necklace.  Are there knots in between each of the pearls?
