sorry for the double post but isisfae have you tryed cableing (cabling ) with out a needle. I havn't tried it myself but they say that this http://www.grumperina.com/rightcable.htm is a really good tutorial. (I think that im going to use this project as my practice one cause socks have enough needles as is!)

This is really cool! I also want to make a knitted brown bag cause regular ones can be really wastful and I need to make a school bag (I'm thinking of this one http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEfall06/PATTlittleslip.html) and a new dressy sweater and a everyday sweater and some knee socks to go with my new (but thrifted 70's boots). Man, I have a lot of knitting to do! I'll be back in a few days after I finish my present for my grandma's 80th birthday! (vegan fox)oooohh and I need a new scarf. Dang, what have I gotten myself into!
