1  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / How much can I charge... on: October 25, 2006 08:43:44 AM

For this mirror? It is decopauged and about 10 in x 10 in. I know the picture is so-so, but it looks basically the same, just a tiny bit sharper.

I just finished these two mirrors! I think they came out pretty well.

3  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Fruity Quilt on: October 19, 2006 11:19:49 AM

I finished this fruit quilt a while back. It is a 1/2 twin lap quilt. It's all fruit print fabric. Now I want to make a vegetable one for my husband!
4  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Baby Showers And Gifts For New Babies / Finished Baby blanket on: October 19, 2006 11:18:21 AM

I finally got my machine working! One side is an orange cotton with people in tradition Mexican dress, the other is blue terry cloth. I made it 30 inches by 30 inches. I figure it will go well in a stroller and double as a changing pad if need be.
5  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / Singer Help! on: October 15, 2006 07:45:53 PM
My sewing machine is driving me up the wall. Growing up I used a 1950s Singer than I got a 1920s model I used for while until it broke. I had it repaired but it didn't work as well any more so I bought a new Singer 2639. I hate it! It's plastic and ugly and for some reason keeps getting unthreaded while I try to sew, without the thread breaking. I was trying to make the baby blanket tonight and it's just not working. It can't sew anything. I really don't have the money for a new machine and I have some things I need to get done.
6  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Baby Showers And Gifts For New Babies / Stroller Blanket on: October 15, 2006 03:32:21 PM
I want to make a stroller blanket to mail out to a friend who just had a baby. They are in Texas, so it doesn't have to be large or heavy. I am wondering what size to make it, I am thinking like 24x32 but am not sure, I don't really know any babies!
