11  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Pottery Barn-inspired Basket on: August 09, 2011 07:13:29 AM
I don't know why I started with "3", but I still have 1,2,4,5,6,7,8,9 & 10 to go!!
12  SEWING IN GENERAL / Machine Embroidery: Completed Projects / Room Sign on: May 12, 2011 12:11:36 PM
I made this room sign as an "in-the-hoop" project. Because I work on commercial machinery and my biggest hoop is 15.5" X 20.5", I was able to do it all in one hooping. I embroidered the organza flower petals separately, then assembled and added it. Matching buttons finished it off. The dowel isn't curved -- I just sew better than I take pictures

13  SEWING IN GENERAL / Machine Embroidery: Completed Projects / Fabric Take Out Boxes on: April 07, 2011 05:54:19 PM
These were quick and easy in-the-hoop projects.  Smiley

14  SEWING IN GENERAL / Machine Embroidery: Completed Projects / Machine Embroidered Watermelon Napkins :) on: March 21, 2011 03:49:22 PM
Making these helped to beat the end-of-winter blahs.  Smiley
15  SEWING IN GENERAL / Machine Embroidery: Completed Projects / "May Flowers" lap-front shirt on: March 20, 2011 04:32:16 PM
"May Flowers" lap-front shirt made using one of Garden of Daisies "April Showers" designs.
16  SEWING IN GENERAL / Machine Embroidery: Completed Projects / Chic Chandeliers on: March 02, 2011 12:59:00 PM
Made with stiffened craft felt and jewelry-aisle craft beads and crystals. Smiley

17  SEWING IN GENERAL / Machine Embroidery: Completed Projects / Scissors on: February 16, 2011 04:49:17 AM
I don't know what I was thinking using orange fabric and thread -- I was trying to pay homage to my scissors -- Ginghers -- and I ended up with Fiskars.  Smiley

18  SEWING IN GENERAL / Machine Embroidery: Completed Projects / Primrose Pincushion on: February 15, 2011 05:02:40 AM
I stitched this out in m 4 X 4 hoop, then pieced it together on my regular sewing machine. Smiley The colors in the photo are off a little -- the pink thread matches the pink, dotted fabric. I'm a better sewer than photographer. Smiley
19  SEWING IN GENERAL / Machine Embroidery: Completed Projects / Clothespin Catcher on: February 09, 2011 05:12:39 AM
This was made using a small, child-size hanger as the hook.  I'm hoping to be a little "greener" this spring and hang my wash out to dry. Smiley
20  SEWING IN GENERAL / Machine Embroidery: Completed Projects / Home Sweet Home on: February 03, 2011 03:10:33 PM
This sign was made in-the-hoop, then sewn to a ribbon hanger. Smiley
