1  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / My happily until college after! (Hippopotamus sized amount of pics!) on: February 16, 2008 07:58:14 PM
Once upon a time I had a tiny room.
After many months of stumbling over stacks of fabric, paint and clothes
I moved to a much bigger room and this happened (sry for the bad quality. Photobucket killed my pretty pictures *tear*:

First impressions:

Couldn't get a canopy bed..so I got the next best thing:

Muah gigantic bed that I luv to death:

Closet door, medal wall, and sewing table :

Random angle:

The desk I had originally painted for my tiny room:

I dont like the paint. I do however like magazine photos:

My baby girl seems to like it:

Exits are located there, there, and here. Please use the later:

Thanks for looking!!! <3

2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / "Preppy as hell", "blockhead", and "I dont like the stork" bags! Lots of Pics! on: December 29, 2007 09:32:59 PM
Christmas makes you do funny things....like stay home all weekend and sew until you cant see straight!  Cheesy I actually made more than this but I only got pictures of these three before I gave them away. Oh well...

I'm a major lurker on here and I finally got the guts to post some of my stuff Cheesy Yay!

This is my "I dont like the stork" bag, named by my friend haley who was looking at the fabric before I cut it. It had a large picture of a stork on parts of the fabric but I cut around it.

And Sophie showing you the inside:

She liked this one a little to much  Undecided:

This one was for my friend Wendy. I call it
"blockhead" because for some reason it came out looking blockier than the others Sad She still liked it though. (The colors look murky in the pictures but the fabric is much prettier in person I promise)

The Inside:

And Hanging up:

"Preppy as Hell" bag (personally my favorite cause of the bottom and the shape is more slanted on the sides. )

and the inside:

I have to name all my bags lol. Even if the names sound ridiculous. So what do you think? They all have magnetic snaps, 3 wide pockets, and I used stiff fusible interfacing so they stand up all by themselves! I would have made bottom inserts for extra stability but I was lazy  Roll Eyes I used satin for lining the first two bags which was difficult to work with since it likes to be so bitchy.  Angry lol

I've been practicing with ribbon on my bags but I didnt get any pics of those. Does anybody have any tips to keep the ribbons from puckering while i'm sewing? Thanks!!!  Kiss

3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Daisy Tote Bag! on: July 27, 2007 12:57:52 PM
Hi this is my first project i've posted on here. I lurk around all the time but i've never gotten around to posting my stuff soo....

I've been makin these bags for awhile now and I finished this one a couple weeks ago.

Its my favorite so far  Grin What do ya think? The pattern I made up myself really...its just a simple, fully-lined, square bottom tote. My friends all think they're pretty cute so do you think they're good enough to sell?  Thanks!
