Christmas makes you do funny things....like stay home all weekend and sew until you cant see straight!

I actually made more than this but I only got pictures of these three before I gave them away. Oh well...
I'm a major lurker on here and I finally got the guts to post some of my stuff

Yay!
This is my "I dont like the stork" bag, named by my friend haley who was looking at the fabric before I cut it. It had a large picture of a stork on parts of the fabric but I cut around it.

And Sophie showing you the inside:

She liked this one a little to much

:

This one was for my friend Wendy. I call it
"blockhead" because for some reason it came out looking blockier than the others

She still liked it though. (The colors look murky in the pictures but the fabric is much prettier in person I promise)

The Inside:

And Hanging up:

"Preppy as Hell" bag (personally my favorite cause of the bottom and the shape is more slanted on the sides. )

and the inside:

I have to name all my bags lol. Even if the names sound ridiculous. So what do you think? They all have magnetic snaps, 3 wide pockets, and I used stiff fusible interfacing so they stand up all by themselves! I would have made bottom inserts for extra stability but I was lazy

I used satin for lining the first two bags which was difficult to work with since it likes to be so bitchy.

lol
I've been practicing with ribbon on my bags but I didnt get any pics of those. Does anybody have any tips to keep the ribbons from puckering while i'm sewing? Thanks!!!
