1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Winter Jackets with a Historic flare on: June 02, 2007 03:26:30 PM
Thanks for making my day so bright and shiny! It has to be an inspiration just to hear all these lovely flattering words!!

Yes, it was just a normal plan duffle like jacket, I imagine you can apply the technique to anything that's too large. Defintely was trying to achieve the "historic era" look into someting that's mod and could be worn on a daily basis.

If you're still interested scuffmark21, I would be willing to part with it... since I did buy a few more of the same jacket's in different sizes with the intention Smiley I'll PM you.

Wow you guys are too kind  Cheesy *takes a bow*
Actually, my mother and I collaborated on the designs! And let's just say she's stellar with the reviews posted here. Thanks for the vote of confidence.

Hopefully you'll all ignore the poses and silliness as youth in the pictures.

Business making in the plan!
I really like the ipod idea, I'm gonna try it... It'll definately save any electronics from the annoying scratches you can get being in a bag full of keys and whatnots.

That's absolutely fantastic! I like the historic flare with the book, since hte paper on the edges aren't meant to align.

I tried it in my youth to hide secret notes... it was a flat children's book.

I would like to know about the needle and sewing machine question as well. My machine won't accept much... so i usually end up doing it by hand.

I would imagine tape might be a good placeholder...

Thanks for the tutorial!

I really like how the elements on the envelopes tied into the fairies completing a theme. Not sure if it was intentional though... Smiley
9  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: classy pleated iridescent clutch TUTORIAL ADDED!!!! on: November 20, 2006 03:06:55 PM
So absolutely functional! I can't wait to make my own and show you the results...! Grin Better than the genericness that comes with department stores.
10  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Pencil Case (now with tutorial!!!) on: November 20, 2006 03:05:12 PM
That's absolutely fantastic!
Although I have to ask, do your pencils get broken easily since they're exposed on the outside to the harder objects in your bag?

Very neat.
