41  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: Green for Spring Chair (kinda engorged with photos) on: March 30, 2010 06:09:43 PM
I love the fabric!  Great recon!
42  FIBER ARTS / Dyeing: Completed Projects / Re: snow dyeing, lots of images on: March 22, 2010 04:30:28 PM
That is really cool!  I always think of tie-dyeing as a warm weather thing (I like to do mine out on the lawn in case I make a mess!) but I'll have to give this a try next winter.  My dad always wants new dyed shirts!
43  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Give me a go/no go for launch: Crochet Space Shuttle!! on: February 13, 2010 01:05:53 PM
It's such a cuddly looking shuttle!  (I would make hug it and make woosh noises too!)

I must confess that what drew me in to this thread was the picture... from the shape, I thought for sure that it was going to be a, erm... "adult toy" cozy!   Shocked  Teehee!
44  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Firey for The Labyrinth Swap on: February 09, 2010 08:00:15 PM
He's awesome!  I'd be afraid to cuddle with him though because he might try to pull off my head.  Sad

*Humming along*  "Chilly down with the fire gang..."

Those are neat!  I like the bacon one.  Smiley  Is there really such a thing as a bacon-scented stamp pad?  What are you carving the stamps from?
46  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / Re: Another Seija Hat on: February 09, 2010 07:48:01 PM
I love the expression on that baby's face, especially in the first photo.  Sooo cute!

Oh yeah, the hat is nice, too...  hehe.  I quite like the added heart!
47  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Re: The Black Sea necklace on: February 04, 2010 08:28:30 AM
Wow.  Shocked  That is beautiful and it's obvious a tremendous amount of work went into it!

I don't know if this is common, but I dislike seaweed.  Something about it creeps me out.  So the thought of wearing this necklace gives me the heebie-jeebies... but only because you did such an amazing job capturing the movement and play of colors in beads!
48  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: Matisse-Inspired Refurnished Shelf on: September 13, 2009 08:13:47 PM
I absolutely love it!  It's so colorful, I'd never think to do anything that bold myself.
49  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Comic book stand - first post! on: September 06, 2009 08:29:11 PM
That look FANTASTIC!  I've been planning to do the same thing to a stereo cabinet I'm refurbishing, but holding off for fear of a bad result.  If mine even looks half as good as yours, I'll be happy!  That's awesome!
50  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: RECYCLED!!! on: August 13, 2009 08:11:59 PM
I don't know what you could do with the square, but that's a creative use for old socks!
