141  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Spring embroidery art pieces on canvas on: January 28, 2007 08:49:17 AM
That is a great idea and so cute!  I might have to try it!
142  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: Help, I'm having Soapers Block on: January 23, 2007 02:25:22 PM
It's dreary, wintery, and grey in my part of the world.  Why not make colorful soaps with a bright summery scent?
143  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: Comics Window Shade on: December 06, 2006 02:25:01 PM
That is SO COOL and I can't wait to see it colored!  Did you use an image projector to trace the design onto the shade?
144  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Sleeve advice on recon in progress on: November 19, 2006 01:34:12 PM
No advice on the sleeves, but that printed fabric is fabulous!
145  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: Awesome orange bird pillow on: November 16, 2006 09:13:11 PM
I like it!  That color is great, it's really vibrant.

Oh goodness, I have a dirty mind!  The way the monkey is positioned in that picture, if you look at it quickly - it looks like the monkey is, uh, "happy to see you!"  LOL

147  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: Please help me with my research on Craftster! :) on: November 04, 2006 06:33:19 PM
1) Why did you join Craftster?
I've been lurking around this site for, I'd say, at least two years now.  I finally joined a few weeks ago because I wanted to be able to ask questions, give comments, and use that little "this rocks!" button.  =)  My personal craftiness is rather stalled right now, so showing off my own projects actually wasn't a factor in my joining.

2) Have you met other people that you consider to be "friends" on Craftster?
Not yet; I've only been here a couple weeks.  But I do have to say this is probably the friendliest forum I've ever seen!

3) Do you communicate/meet with other Craftster members elsewhere besides these forums? (either in real life or online)
Again, not yet.  I'd be open to it though, and there is that handy city guide board!
148  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Psylocke! Comic geekiness. on: November 02, 2006 10:57:52 PM
That is absolutely fabulous!  And you even went all out with bleaching and dying your hair - now that is hardcore costuming!  I didn't realize the costume consisted of nude-colored spandex until you mentioned it.  That's a great idea, especially with her butt-floss costume.

And the psychic knife?  The "focused totallity of her psychic powers?"  AWESOME!
149  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Anakin Skywalker "Luke, I *am* your father..." Costume on: November 02, 2006 10:48:22 PM
I don't know how Craftster feels about cursewords, so I'll try to tone it down... but HOLY EFFING CRAP, THAT IS GOSH DARN INCREDIBLE!!!   Shocked  I am so in lust with your mad costume making skills.  That's amazing.  Ohhhh my goodness...  Will you make my costume next year?
150  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: A Polar Fleece Cloak for cool nights, or maybe saving Middle Earth..... on: November 02, 2006 01:51:09 PM
Ooh, that looks comfy and WARM!  What did you use for a pattern?
